> The main goal remains to repeat his victories in the 2022 and 2023 Tour de France. Even though world champion Tadej Pogacar proved to be clearly superior in the last two editions. The first months of this season also do not suggest that the Slovenian is any less capable than in previous years, yet Vingegaard still sees some positive signs.

> It has been a great battle, because it wasn't just the same rider winning every year. We have alternated wins a bit. Now he has won the last two years, so now it is my turn to win this year. I believe I am going to do that. I have a good feeling, both about the race and my preparation. I think this will be our year,” he concludes.

Vingo stocks SOARING

Interesting schizo theory on seixas and state mandated doping I came across. A french hero is made to distract the unwashed masses from their countries many problems. He wins 2027 after another 9% watt gain in the off season

A Fish Tour win might be the best outcome for the sport and, somehow, for Pogi's career.

6 consecutive years of trading Tour wins would be the stuff of legend. I'd unironically push this as the greatest sports rivalry of all time.

I for one am looking forward to more broken powermeters this year.

why would vingo be any better this year, dude was struggling against that shitter martinez multiple times just now and yes I know vingo always sucks early season but he's minutes behind pog not just seconds. This season even his team is battered and shit so he'll be all alone too. And there's pressure from behind from seixas and redbull (LOL) who are gunning for 2nd, you bet he will take 0 risks

Alright, my new passport is in the works. Cute girl behind the counter was impressed with my visas and we had a nice conversation and I wasn't even autism or anything. In a few weeks I will drive to Italy again and maybe possibly visit the La Giro d'Italia. I have almost a month off soon so I can do whatever the FUCK I want. Sometimes it is over but for now I am BACK

Anyway I was wondering, why is Jonas so unbelievably dogshit in one day races. Nowadays it isn't even tactics anymore with the Pog tactic of just ride fast lol. And surely he can do that. It makes NO sense

> Our wind tunnel tests show that Project 1.0 skinsuits are our fastest kit. For those with other skinsuits or jerseys, the Project undersleeve is a great alternative. It's made from the same double-layer fabric to reduce drag when worn under your existing kit.
LMAO

remcos cringecuck arc gives us many great interviews wow
about to head out for a long one, there's like no wind until noon but quite a bit of wind after that and my planned route basically gives me 2.5h of no tailwind and 2.5h of headwind uh oh

> Father Evenepoel has also reflected on the dilemma. According to Patrick, his son should in any case continue to aim for the general classification in the Tour de France for at least the next two years. “Everyone is talking about that now. Remco has always loved the classics, but he still needs to aim for the Tour de France. Another year or two, I think. If you can finish third in the Tour and win the Vuelta, you have to keep believing in it,” he told HLN.

why do these people do this, can't they see reality

> Remco Evenepoel, two-time winner of Liège-Bastogne-Liège and one of the favorites along with Tadej Pogacar and Paul Seixas on Sunday, said he was impressed by the young Frenchman's victory on Wednesday in La Flèche Wallonne, while emphasizing that "Liège is 260 km and Paul is only 19 years old." " Seixas' effort was impressive , but it will be completely different in a 260-kilometer race. He's only 19 years old... Tadej and I probably have a bit more stamina
Not very smart

> Mathieu van der Poel may return to competition as early as next week. The 31-year-old Dutchman traveled to Girona and the surrounding area together with his regular training partner Freddy Ovett, a distance of nearly six hundred kilometers from their home near Calpe. On Saturday, May 2, 2026, the famous gravel race The Traka takes place in and around Girona.

Since si-ops are in full swing.
What if Pogikanker in fact should be the fall guy.
Ok, he did Rue Blanche with a longranger but he had to work to drop the teenage squeaker supreme.
San Remo? Shitcock held on, grug wasn't there because of watt-limiting grip issue.
De Ronde? Still a not 100% grug was on him until the last Kwaremont.
Roobay? Wout was erasing his "attacks" like these were some Remco pulls.
Are we sure he is still good and not one leg in hasbeen territory?

Komondor is a large dog, Puli is medium sized. Both shepherd breeds, but different roles. Puli was for herding specifically, Komondor to guard the herd from wolves. Same for kuvasz. Tho not necessarily just for sheep, but next to pigs, goats, cattle, even horses.
There are a number of other Hungarian breeds, pumi, kopó, vizsla, agár. Some of them are a subtype of "international" breeds, like hound and pointer.

> Milan Bral (21), a promising cyclist from Ingooigem (Anzegem), is fighting for his life after a serious accident during training. He was hit by a car in Ronse on Saturday afternoon. He is the nephew of former professional cyclist Sep Vanmarcke.

Fucking hell I passed by this on my ride, some policeman stopped me and told me to go the long way around because it wasn't pretty. Saw them impound a car too.

someone also perished on one of my main routes a few weeks ago. Idk what happened, just that the rider didn't make it. When I came by there already were police, paramedics and for some reason firefighters at work. I also don't know how they even got there because it's a bike path through the woods and I didn't think cars especially of that size could even get there but evidently they did

I have 502 which has a completely useless velcro strip in addition to the boa which seriously does nothing all. It has no function it does not tighten anything up or hold anything in place. 503 doesn't have that so they are definitely better but I ain't pigging nothing new these shoes are fine.
That being said don't sell yourself short you're not that far off and you're going to reach 380w by the end of the year we calculated that months ago
 >>/81294/
I don't see what you would need a second boa for tbh, the shoes are perfectly tight with just one and boas stick out like gross tumors from the shoes so the less boa the better imo

Swiss tv wrote a teaser article for LBL and they are calling it "real" pogi vs "new" pogi. New pogi sounds better than the next pogi. All those next remcos we've seen come and go gave the whole concept a bad name.

just need someone who's strong enough and has a team to lead the charge
the way I see it recent editions were just hard because UAE lead the charge and already paced on every capo thus resulting in everyone else riding too if just for position.

 >>/81748/
be aware that this bike may not actually fit you, i doubt a 56 is fitting for someone who is 173cm
furthermore the bike seems slammed? i cant tell if theres 1-2 spaces under the stem

its useful to know your body measurements and actually double check them for each bike model

> Il a fait un super bon début de saison, de superbes résultats. C'est bien de le voir si fort. Je ne pense pas avoir déjà vu un coureur plus fort que lui.
No respect for jonas

 >>/81756/
i recommend sizing it down one or two steps, that way you can always increase the stem length if it ends up a bit cramped

(and if you're on team backpain at some point you can still ride comfy)

don't ever buy a bike that is already slammed

 >>/81763/
but wait, if according to the official sizing guide this bike is the smaller size for me then it's fine? from what I figured it's better to get a smaller one than a bigger one
> don't ever buy a bike that is already slammed
why?

 >>/81764/
I wouldn't buy a slammed bike because it reduces your options for handlebar height etc.
If you have the full fork you can try around and see what works and then cut yourself, I think the bike in your pic has a spacer or two beneath the stem but I'm not sure.

56 should be fine for that. I looked up the geometry chart of that bike and its not particularly aggressive, I wouldn't worry much about the handlebar height being too low and even if it is there are quick and relatively cheap fixes for that.
What I'm uncertain about is the seatpost situation and how much you can adjust that. Idk anything about trek bikes but this looks like the seat post is shoved onto the seat tube (opposite of whats the norm) and maybe if the seat tube was cut or is not particularly long in the first place you might not be able to get your desired seat height. I recommend checking that out for sure

I bet its replaceable but getting one that is longer or even one at all may be the issue because its an old frame and idk if a seatpost for that frame is still in production. This showed up first result earlier when I looked for the picture above kek Big Bike and their proprietary designs. My bike is also full of that

 >>/81798/
He didn't really change it's just that Pogi got a lot better in 2024 and he couldn't follow him anymore. Those all out comments last year were stupid though. Visma had tried hard to break Pogi but they had obviously given up when he said that so he should have just said nothing and taken his 2nd.

 >>/81790/
 >>/81777/
I have the same Emonda (just later SLR model) and the integrated saddle is pretty good. You don't cut the base seatpost at all, you just insert a seat mast cap and clamp it to the frame seatpost. The seat mast caps are sold separately by Trek and should still be readily available. I'd contact some Trek store to be sure about the availability, but I don't think it's such a big concern. The aluminum one should cost under 100 euros new.

Pog finally happy someone other than grug can play

Why has Poole not raced since those Portuguese events? He has picked up another virus. "I'm not a doctor, but it's simply a virus he picked up in the aftermath of last year's Epstein-Barr," says sports director Phil West. "He's training again and back on the bike, but we don't want to rush him."
Poole therefore did not start the Tour of the Alps, and was also absent from the Tour of Turkey — the fallback plan. West kept his cards close to his chest regarding decisions about the Giro. "We're keeping all options open, as we do with all riders under medical supervision. We need to take the right steps at the right time."
Nevertheless, the Giro in May looks like an unrealistic target for a rider who hasn't raced since February. "I have to be honest and say I'm not really focused on when Max can race any more. We get general updates showing that his training is going well. But when we take the next step, I don't know. Maybe it will be sooner than we think — but we need to be careful."

 >>/81850/
the mainstream media either does not address any of it at all or presents it without comment
what I found is that a shockingly large amount of plebs in the comments take this as proof that pog is clean. Because seixas almost kept up with him

 >>/81866/
Isn't crispr still stalled by inability to reliably edit in whatever you want to edit without blowing up the whole genome?
Like it is still a great POC but if you actually try to run it on an unseen and unadjoosted case it causes more problems than you can fix.

But, yes, the Clinic, schizobrit is a better source of theories than them.

 >>/81793/
elitewheels yea in their aliX shop they have one cheaper heavy rim brake wheelset and one more expensive lighter wheelset in like 40 and 50mm. Both 28mm external width, if you can't fit 28mm tires and wheels there are more options for 25mm width wheels on aliX. That's probably the only source of good value rim brake wheels to be found anywhere, there are a few better options but also a lot more expensive. Not much rim brake stuff around anymore generally speaking and most of what is still around is very old designs.
I don't think there's any good option to be had outside of china period

 >>/81909/
But it looks like you are trainer is doing a thing where in ERG mode it pretty much just reports the set point as the power at any given moment. So if you're in ERG mode set to say, 200 w, it'll just report a constant 200 w. The alternative is it reports the watts you're actually doing, which will be oscillating around 200 w, but not simply a steady 200 w. Basically the difference between what you're supposed to do and what you're actually doing. It should average out to the same unless you're doing something weird or your trainer is broken, but they're fake numbers and I hate that and wish to eradicate them whenever I see them.

What a shit velodrama team creation that was.
You have no fun leverage really.
Like bruh august is 10... Sure he won A stage not too long ago but come on. Not being 8 is...

George let us pick stage winners, its fun. But your system is retarded so we can't.

1429€ even but thats still a more fair offer than anything else I've seen coming from a w*stern brand. I have a 38mm set from xmcarbonspeed thats 1160g naked with carbon spokes and normal brake track for like 950€ with these measurements and another set from lightbicycle thats a bit deeper and heavier with steel spokes with that groved brake track for like 1200€, too expensive for what it is tbh. Brake track thingy is a nothing burger imo

Well my coach calls it "sweetspot" but really at something like 95% it's very upper SS or just threshold. In any case, it lets me somewhat recover between efforts while still being pretty tough on the muscles. I'm a diesel and can do 90-120min "normal sweetspot" in one stretch at 90-92%, so upping the power a bit is a nice way to make those workouts tougher without going too long / being constrained by overheating and hydration/fueling.

> "The Wielermanager hype played an unintentional part": Tom Crabbe had "underestimated" the pressure in the spring, but is now liberated in Turkey

> Tom Crabbe had started 2026 like a comet, with stage wins in Bessèges and Andalusia. Those first professional victories earned him a spot in quite a few Wielermanager teams, but it was only in his final spring races that the fast man was able to score. "You might put too much pressure on yourself then. I have learned from that," the double stage winner in Turkey confided to us.

> Tom Crabbe is riding on a cloud in the Tour of Turkey. In the first stage, the Flanders - Baloise sprinter was clearly the fastest; the following day it was closer after a survival trek uphill and a tense sprint. "The focus here was a bit more on not putting pressure on myself and seeing where that would take me. Secretly, I had hoped to win once; twice is really crazy," Crabbe revealed in a phone call with Sporza.

> Pressure from the Wielermanager
> As a hype in the Wielermanager, Crabbe did indeed race around with a certain amount of pressure in the spring. With a price tag of just 3 million, he convinced about half of the nearly 100,000 participants to sign up for a spot on their team.

> "Unconsciously, that hype did play a part, yes," he agreed.

> "I had underestimated that a bit. You have to learn to deal with that pressure, and it is getting better and better now. There is a lot involved; you can't train for that. You might put too much pressure on yourself. I've learned from that; I just have to do my thing."

Velogames getting to everyone
