Easy endurance today as we were all pretty tired from yesterday's big efforts. Went to a couple of monasteries, amazing views, and even the flatter countryside was pretty spectacular. Rode the last 2h by myself and I think I prefer that to riding in a group, it's nice to be by yourself and your thoughts.

 >>/73092/
There's a time trial this week, wanna try it later too
 >>/73093/
It is so overpowered too in zwift """racing""", if you are against some poor bertacek who can't steer, you can drift away so he doesn't get any slipstream. Also you cut corners and save some 1% of total distance.

Memco should be doing all 5 monuments. It's more than time to force him to ride on some cobbles.

I genuinely don't understand how any Belgian could ever excuse this much cowardice.

 >>/73097/
The orange bits are rockers you can "pull". The d-pad is for menu etc. They discontinued this model though, because they fucked up the sweat-proofing. I think they were probably also way overly complex for what they are. They were giving them away for free+shipping at one point, so I picked up a set - haven't really used them.

 >>/73105/
> hey remember when I won Tour de France? pay me
Not innovative in the slighest but it has worked out for him. I wonder how long this training platform will last. Seems like it wont have much to offer unless you are a professional athlete that needs to monitor a lot of training data but they probably get it for free as part of sponsorships. Will enough amateurs dish out a monthly subscription for this shit to keep them afloat when they run out of investor money?

I have a feeling winning RVV these days is near impossible for grug. He has to stay with pog till the finish which didn't happen last year and sure as hell won't happen this year. If a g2 manages to catch pog and it comes down to a sprint he's very likely to lose to pedersen and I assume grug is well aware of that since he chose to work with pog until that one dropped him instead of trying his luck in g2 right away.
It's over, 0 monuments for grug this season. Retirement 2028

 >>/73124/
that jonas geens dude they found out of nowhere has also been a top tier domestique this year
planckaert is also good
alpecin is fine, it's not like soren kragh saddle sore is any better than washed senechal these days

 >>/73147/
Maybe but it just looks like your guy has achieved his final form and grug stayed in his top shape but it is equivalent to top last year - not enough.
On the other hand P*dcock could follow and he is not your first thought on wattbombers despite the obvious squeak levels of W/kg.

> stay behind the car to reach the cipressa
> stay behind mateo on the cipressa
> have victor, mateo and laporte wait for you to bring you back behind the two climbs
> stay at the back of the peloton the whole poggio
> snicky attack at 1.4km to go, behind moto
> HE'S BACK, would have followed pogi 100%
Kek

back on topic:
< Pogačar’s mechanic, Boštjan Kavčnik, reveals: “Only after the finish did we realize Tadej had ridden the finale on a cracked frame.”

> “The rear fork was damaged, but fortunately it held together. Had Tadej known the true condition of the bike, he would never have descended so aggressively as he even attacked on the descent and when he tried to push Tom Pidcock to the limit.”

> “Tadej crashed on his left side, where there’s no gear shifter, but the crash mode was still triggered. He reset it himself and didn’t notice anything else wrong, so we didn’t change the bike.”

“This bike will now go into his special collection, it cannot be used anymore.”

 >>/73162/
> There was a good reason not to switch bikes. “It was the first time Tadej opted for a single chainring. By removing the front derailleur and the extra chainring, we saved weight and were able to improve aerodynamics. He also used larger wheels with narrower tires: 28 millimeters this year compared to 30 millimeters last year,” Kavčnik outlines
I thought 30 were faster than 28?

 >>/73165/
on smooth roads it depends on whatever the wheelset they're using is designed for, if he's using the most aero wheelset that the sponsor has to offer and that one is optimized for 28s then the 28s are faster.
If the most aero wheelset is designed for ~32mm tire width then tires that measure 32mm would be faster, on rough sections like cobbles wider is always better

 >>/73161/
Burgers got bootyblasted about my unwillingness to keep posting under a burger flag.
Surely this is that tryhard "Dane" fed, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is more than one falseflagging.
Winebert was asking questions too but he doesn't strike me as a prime suspect, and he can take banter ok.

Sorry burgers, your flag is now just a rung or two higher than the j*wish one.

For the last couple of rides, two weeks give or take, I have been plagued by what seemed to be a weird leatherly sound coming from my right pedal-ish.
I thought it was the usual Assioma squeaking, so I did the needful. But the sound came back.
I think I have done the needful about tree times and each time it came back which obviously left quite discheesed. But I couldn't hear the sound during my indoor rides, but I had assumed it was because I usualy wear headphones.

But anyway, I think, not sure, but I think it is actually caused by my worn and torn trusty toe covers. They are in a sad state after 5 years of usage and many a walk of shames, so somehow they might be the cause.
I rode a rampa, it did the sound, I put the cover down, it no longer did the sound.

Thank you. I actually identify as Flemish. But the real flemish. Not the Flemish "belgium" that is just as fake as Belgium itself.
Real cyclists come form here. Such as Freddy maertens and the one and only Patje LEFEVERE. And ofc more more recent names such as Vanmarcke, Museeuw and devolder

It's over, I was supposed to do a big ride today but yesterday afternoon I started feeling very lethargic and nauseous and had a feverish night. I think I most likely had sunstroke (even with using sun cream). Oh well, hopefully it gets better today and I can ride tomorrow. This just shows that outdoors riding is dangerous and I should stick to raping.

 >>/73339/
Was just yesterday talking to my coworker from Saudi (fun guy, for a shitskin that would convert me in 5 seconds if he could) and how he gets a second layer over fleece in London when it gets below 10C.
I don't wear gloves on bike until it is below -5C.
Nords can't stay in high UV index for very long.

Yeah this is super comicale. All my friends are at the mountains doing enormous rides and having the time of their life. Me, I'm stuck in this hotel bed adjusting my velogames team and feeling miserable. Can't even do anything outside (not that I'd even want to, feeling so lethargic) because this part of the town is just a cycling tourist trap. If I don't feel better soon I'm not sure what I'll do, perhaps just book an earlier flight back to Finland haha

unironically have been struggling with water on my longer rides lately because every public waterspot is still closed until May or so and my routes typically don't take me anywhere that has gasstations or so which means I have to take detours

 >>/73380/
Thanks for the recommendation, unfortunately I am still feeling very nauseous and don't really have much appetite. I did eat ~7000kcal on Monday when I had the last bigger ride so I should be relatively good on the kcal balance

Feasting every single day AND he got KOM points once again. PCSman's dirty tactics of pushing him to 6 pts won't stop me from picking him.

I swear he must have like double the breakaway KM of the next rider over the past 2 seasons.

Usually you don't no and usually hitting a rear wheel with your front wheel means instant crash. I've had someone hit my rear wheel and he went down while I barely even noticed more than a bump as if I rode through a pothole

 >>/73537/
Randomly putting him at +1:00? Wtf is that. That's neither here nor there. Either they do the hometown discount of retroactively making it a 5 km safe-zone and put him at s.t. or they give him whatever time he got. What the hell.

 >>/73538/
> Mouton may well have to answer for his actions further. “The man will be administratively detained,” says police spokeswoman Lien Depoorter. “We will now examine what his intentions were and whether he directly caused the crash.”

as long as his intentions are good we can't do anything sir, he dindu nuffin

> “I wanted to go to my drops and just at that moment there was a pothole that I hadn't seen and that wasn't marked. That's when I lost control of my handlebars,” Evenepoel explained his crash himself.

> What exactly is the damage? “I have a bit of pain everywhere. My elbow, back, and hips are scraped open. We will see what the precise consequences are for the rest of this week. I need to let my body recover a bit now and see how I do tonight and especially tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is quite a tough day, we'll see what's possible.”

holy retard

 >>/73576/
yeah out of the saddle riding is a cheat code for indoor cycling, makes it way easier to push power but you can't do that irl
he did 1 challenge race where he forced himself to only ride sitting down and he got 2nd and said it was the worst thing ever

> After finally winning Milan-San Remo, Tadej Pogačar said he might not target the race again, citing the dangers of training on the busy Italian coast road as a major concern.
he's right, you know

 >>/73611/
Your boi going through Ramadan like a good neophyte got himself a Deus ex machina tomorrow and may just recover for the GT stages.
And then find his trve destiny as a top tier puncheur, bulk and win all the gobbles he wants, especially since pogicaca will soon be on the wrong side of the hill, inshallah alhamdulillah.

But without his retard mentality and strength, there may not be enough power to overcome the Great Slurp in Barfelona.

Is that the silca bag? I have the smaller one and really like it. Very secure fit. My other bag rattles like crazy. Second the tpu rec. Don't even care about any supposed gains, but they pack so much smaller as spares.

Time for big rape, I recommend 5h endurance and watching 1900 by Bertolucci.
I'm feeling slightly better today, stomach is still feeling very unstable but I'm not so lethargic. Perhaps in the afternoon I will ride easy for a couple hours, and if that's ok, then a bigger ride is scheduled for tomorrow.

rai isn't even showing the race live, but instead show figure skating. then there's the official youtube channel of italian cycling that should show the race, but they don't stream it before 16:00 and there's only 6km to go in the race lol. fugging Italy.

Managed to leave the hotel and do a short ride, I've not had any appetite for the past couple days and had constant diarrhea so decided to play it safe and just went to do easy hill reps on the nearby rampa. Stomach still felt weird but at least the legs were pretty fresh.

 >>/73758/
Yeah I wish I had never left the raper, heh. Anyway, the hill was pretty nice with ~120m elevation gain. I think if I'm feeling better tomorrow I'll just go up and down a similar but larger hill for some hours, kind of like outdoor rape, listen to some nice music or podcast. I want to be reasonably near the hotel if I bonk or get the shits.

 >>/73760/
Well yeah it could well also be a virus, but it feels much like my past experiences with sunstroke. We were out in the sun nearly 8h straight on the first ride day and then 6h on the second, so quite a lot more than usual. The stomach problems also started a day later than the other symptoms. But dunno, not a fun one either way.

 >>/73766/
Misread that, had long day, chipped in to the service of the dentist's Porsche (not coming back there, weird dude).
What I meant is these stages are BUILT for Almeidingz and his high-powered diesel.
Martinez still can't do them reliably, Steini Steini Steini das kleine Krokodil as well. I wish LANDA does very well though.

 >>/73799/
oh I see well I don't have any problem riding standing it's just that I indoors I overheat eventually and outdoors my legs explode although I've never tried long steady state efforts outdoors, I'll try that on a steep climb the next couple days if its stop snowing

 >>/73800/
Does he know about the performance history feature on PCS?
I know there a lot of things that may prove the history alone usless, I've played this gem for a while (*taps /CYC/ GC 26*) but this are some Roubaix stars.

Now that I am thinking about I am about get off of Mads, let's see how dumb of an idea this is.

Former professional cyclist Bert Roesems (53) was beaten up by a group of youths along the canal in Halle on Saturday afternoon. Earlier that afternoon, the youths had stolen the electric scooter belonging to his son, Siebe Roesems, who is now also a professional cyclist. Bert was taken to the hospital unconscious; his son Siebe is deeply shaken by what happened.

Greenways was much more "competitive" before moving teams than Fatkobsen ever was in DSM.

Greenways got almost double the points in his worst Jayco season than Fatkobsen got in his best DSM season. The former also got multiple wins every season while the latter got 1 single win against jobbers and literal whos (and superstar BABOR) in Turkey.

 >>/73873/
Speaking of that, it's very interesting how his image has been rehabilitated in a certain space to the point those people are now happily cheering for him.

Nowadays their satan is Jappe, and I've seen stuff wished on him there only matched by our resident 4cyc schizos. Though that has also calmed down since Milan went retarded a few times last year.

I did a short ride, felt like shit because I'm so dehydrated and without energy from barely eating the past couple days and shitting everything out. Ate a modest meal afterwards and bam, directly huge diarrhea.
