I am writing to request consideration for funded support with domestic assistance under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
I am currently receiving the Disability Support Pension due to ongoing medical conditions that significantly affect my energy levels, motivation, and capacity to carry out daily living tasks. These conditions result in clinically recognised impairments related to executive functioning, task initiation, and sustained effort, which substantially limit my ability to maintain my living environment to a safe and hygienic standard.
As a result of these impairments, I experience persistent difficulty completing essential household tasks such as cleaning the bathroom, kitchen, and other shared living spaces. These tasks are not merely inconvenient for me; they are often overwhelming to the point that they remain undone for extended periods, which negatively impacts my physical health, mental wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
I have attempted to manage these responsibilities independently, however my functional limitations mean that these efforts are not sustainable or effective without support. Assistance with domestic cleaning would enable me to maintain a safe and sanitary home environment and would significantly reduce the stress and health risks associated with my current situation.
I am therefore requesting NDIS-funded domestic assistance support to help with regular household cleaning tasks. This support would directly address my disability-related functional limitations and assist me in maintaining an acceptable standard of daily living.
