Currently nuro uses a KORG DS-dac 10r for his compooter /hifi ... these are redonkulously cheap on ebay at the the moment and are the deal of the century 

nuro has FIIO UTSW5 BT earhooks for his IKKO IEMS which i use for lossy and is good nuff 95% of the time 

i then whip the FIIO KA15 portable dac when i want to listen to lossless 

even Ripping some vinyl DSD this weekend.... 

Been using the hiby and Zishan DAPs less and less lately. I still love the Zishan. Its plain black box with a few buttons. Its pure minimalist Autism

I watched the two sequels to Silence of the Lambs. Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon (2002). Both were disappointing.
Anthony Hopkins' portrayal of Hannibal Lecter was no longer as good. In Silence of the Lambs he had a harder edge. He looked and sounded more dangerous. In the two sequels he plays him softer which was a mistake. He played him like he was an English poof.
Red Dragon (2002) was basically a remake of Manhunter (1986), based on the same book. Red Dragon follows the book more faithfully but still does not quite hit the spot.

Video game hardware and game sales have been declining. It has been the worst performance November sales since 1995. I wonder why $110 games are declining sales. Remember the promise 15 yrs that digital games were going to be cheaper than physical? The retail presence of game stores in Australia is pitiful. I have given up on physical games because of storage and selling games have become too much of an annoyance to me. You used to have GAME & GameTraders across the country now you have to deal with going to pawn shops, ebay/gumtree scammers and thieves. We don't even have to mention how bad EB Games is. All my online gaming is on Switch, emulators/old pirated PC games.

Steam destroyed all other competition because valve don't need or care for the price games are sold which they are right except in the case of physical collectors editions which can still mostly be advertised on steam. A lot of this also applies to the economy in general. It's called shrinkflation. Before the DDR5 Ram shortage PC gaming was more worthwhile in general and then especially because of steam sales and cd key sites. A lot of games on PS5 and XBOX are full price all of the time also while offering no more convenience because of needing to install the game to SSD and also installing day 1 updates which steam already does.
