What for? If it is to replace "This is the end" thumbnails, it would be a waste since we found out that remuxing fixes that. So if it's purely for QoL reasons, the answer is that I actually worked on a userscript which pulled those .qt animated thumbnails and replaced the ones here, however, due to CSP it required a lot of dirty (i.e. slow) workarounds and it wasn't really feasible from a network perspective as each page hit would require pulling all those thumbnails. However, if it's purely for archiving purposes, it'd be straightforward to create a script which pulled those and saved them to your disk (although it may be just as easy to use a simple ffmpeg script to create those animated thumbnails client side once the tok is downloaded)
