i mean it was the 90s. that was the counter-culture, 10-20yrs before it flipped to mainstream culture. similar to whats happening now w imageboardisms suddenly flipping into mainstream parlance

doesnt matter if you dgaf about lyrics anyways. theres other reasons they were important. theyre why you can still got to $5 punk shows all across the US. they were like the ONE punk band that never compromised on their hopeless ideals. its cool. you forget that in ppl nowadays. you just never see it.
also prolly the best rhythm section in punk. and clearly from the literal hundreds of hrs of live sets on record, theyre one of the tightest live bands that ever happened
