🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 1: THE PLAN 🚨

I am working on gathering all the documents. 

Now, here's something to understand about the "democracy" and protest ecosystem: almost nobody knows the 'grand plan' so to speak. They simply agree to play a role. 

For example, 99% of people breaking stuff on the streets believe they're doing it out of an organic uprising. They don't see that the police have been ordered to stand down. They don't see that legal services have already been arranged for them. They don't see that foundations are paying for their bonds. 

Similarly here, governors aren't participating in a pact to destroy the Constitution. Governors simply have agreed to push back on the Insurrection Act. The effect is the same: the governors end up playing a role in a grander plan. 

I call this "shared epistemology" in my book Unelected. Motivations differ, people rarely agree to the big evil supervillain framing, but incentives all converge in the same end goal. 

No Kings might not agree to explicitly tear down the Constitution, but they nonetheless work with DSA and will turn out millions of people if the right phone call is put in. 

Here is one articulation of the plan - and crucially, since then, they have put many NGOs in their places to execute their proper role at all levels when the time is right.

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 2: WHEN AND HOW TO DECLARE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE 🚨

Some questioned whether a group of 200 ex-USAID officials could actually pull off their ambitions to rewrite the Constitution. 

Here, they describe exactly how it works. They aren't working alone. 

The videos all come from Renew to Thrive (R2T) group and associates. Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz play key roles within R2T. 

R2T sits inside a much, much larger umbrella called United Democracy Alliance (UDA), which is an extremely hush-hush control plane of leaders from major "blocking" NGOs such as 50501 and Indivisible fulfilling various functions. UDA decides when protests get deployed, timelines, how to respond, all that. 

R2T's role within UDA is concerned with "the day after tomorrow" - in other words, their function is to conceive what a rewritten American government will look like after the rest of UDA fulfills its purpose. As will be shown, Erica Chenoworth is credited with conceiving UDA in the first place under the Horizons "Big Tent" initiative. 

Note here that National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is credited for operationalizing UDA. NSL4A is a group of 1,600 ex-military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. They are led by Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret). NSL4A also played a key role in the "illegal orders" messaging which targeted Pete Hegseth. Zeitz is also a member of NSL4A. 

It must be emphasized that the choice of a military-oriented organization to coordinate NGOs across domestic protests is an interesting one all in itself - especially in an umbrella conceived by a regime change expert like Chenoworth. 

You will have a hard time finding any mentions of UDA in the public. They are extremely hush-hush and selective who they talk to. 

Mike Smith himself makes a personal appearance in other calls, coordinating Insurrection Act exercises and roleplaying with R2G as one of the participants. 

As the audio transcript shows, they have outlined a sequence of "redlines" in which case the federal government should be declared illegitimate. Invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed redlines. I will post the illegitimate criteria below, but basically, almost any effective pushback against NGOs is a measure of illegitimacy according to them. 

Important to understand:
The audio shows they shopped this idea around governors, but the reality is that governors do not have to explicitly sign on to the pact to play their role in the coup. All they have to do is refuse troops in their state and let UDA / R2G do the work of dissolving the federal government.

Democratic legitimacy is not simply a legal status. It is the recognized authority of a government to make binding decisions on behalf of the people, resting on the consent of the governed as expressed through free and fair processes. A government can be legally in office while being democratically illegitimate. The distinction matters for everything that follows, and it also creates a danger: a term that everyone can invoke and no one has defined becomes a weapon for whichever side is losing. The next section supplies the definitions. This one states the conditions.

A federal government crosses the threshold into illegitimacy when one or more of the following conditions obtain, as determined under the standards set out below:

· Elections are manipulated or suppressed, or their results overturned outside the processes prescribed by law, such that the composition of government no longer reflects the certified will of the electorate
· A sitting executive continues to exercise the powers of the office after the constitutional end of the term, or takes actions designed to prevent a lawfully elected successor from assuming power
· A legislature has been populated through manipulated elections, intimidation, or the exclusion of members holding certificates of election issued under state law, making its acts expressions of captured rather than representative power
· The executive defies final orders of the courts, or removes, arrests, or intimidates judges, to the point where the judiciary can no longer serve as an independent check
· The executive deploys the military, federalized National Guard, federal law enforcement, or paramilitary forces against voters, election officials, political opponents, the press, or peaceful assembly in ways that make democratic participation impossible

They always dress their stuff up in beautiful wording. Let me translate these criteria in plain English: 

1. Don't do any investigations of election fraud, or you're illegitimate
2. If cheating happened and you delaying a new member of Congress because of it, you're illegitimate
3. If Republicans win too many elections, then you're illegitimate

At what point does this become foreign interference of our elections?

To back up: the main group that Danielle Reiff and the other ex-USAID workers belongs to, Renew To Thrive (R2T) / Renew American Democracy (RAD) have an explicit strategy document. That strategy outlines "preparing for the worst" which includes the Insurrection Act or "election meltdown," and their goal is to get "structural reform" in place by that - a polite way of saying our Constitutional Republic has to be overhauled. 

In July 2026, R2T/RAD invited foreign state actors to share experience with the American community, for the express purpose of operationalizing their expertise right here in the United States. All actors had experience in international community assisted transitions (I'll let you figure out what that is a code word for). 

The disturbing part, though, is that all of the foreign actors' recommendations were implemented right here in America. 

You may have seen news headlines like: 

- Restore trust in processes
- Increased election security, increased legal presence at polls
- Democratic officials hold tabletop exercises
- Judges prepare for post-election challenges

To be clear, this video doesn't prove that this meeting specifically caused this cascade of escalations. But what it shows is that the democracy-promotion playbook the U.S. spent decades exporting, with situation rooms, observers at every polling place, prebunking and litigation paired with street mobilization, is now being run on America's own election. The same people are running it, and they're taking advice from the foreign actors the U.S. once backed. 

Now when you look at officials talking about independent watchdogs or tabletop exercises... know that it's because they are now treating the United States midterms exactly the same as they'd treat elections in a third world country. 

And I think more than a small part of them are hoping that it does become a self-fulfilling prophecy as it has in so many of those countries. (For context, my book Unelected documents that so-called "election meltdowns" are precursors to transitions of power via color revolution.)

The Color Revolution in Our Midst

America is currently in the midst of a color revolution designed to overthrow our Constitutional form of government. The only way to stop it is awareness.
(This is going to be a lengthy article, but please bear with me because I believe we all need to understand what is happening in the shadows.)

THAT, friends, is what a color revolution sounds like.
However, if we are all going to fight this rebellion with our own words and deeds, we need the knowledge to be able to spot exactly what the fight looks like. To that end, I am writing this article to educate American patriots on what a color revolution actually is, what its key strategies consist of, and how those strategies relate to what we are seeing being unleashed in the USA today.

What is a Color Revolution?
Wikipedia defines a “color revolution” as follows:
“[Color revolutions] are a series of often non-violent protests and accompanying (attempted or successful) changes of government and society taking place in post-Soviet states (particularly Georgia, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan) and the former Yugoslavia during the 21st century. The aim of the color revolutions is to establish Western-style democracies. They were primarily triggered by election results widely viewed as falsified. The color revolutions are marked by the use of the internet as a method of communication, as well as a strong role of non-governmental organizations [(“NGOs”)] in the protests.”

USAID and the CIA were instrumental in fomenting the color revolutions in Serbia (the “Bulldozer Revolution,” 2000),Georgia (the “Rose Revolution,” 2003), Ukraine (the “Orange Revolution,” 2004-2005), Kyrgyzstan (the “Tulip Revolution,” 2005), Lebanon (the “Cedar Revolution”, 2005), Belarus (the “Jeans Revolution,” 2006), Ukraine again (the “Revolution of Dignity,” 2013-2014) and Armenia (the “Velvet Revolution,” 2018). These are only the ones we know about publicly, and there are also suspicions that similar U.S. governmental actions took place in the “Arab Spring” of 2010 to 2012.
While the main government players in all of this on the U.S. side were the CIA and USAID, “non-profit” NGOs like the National Endowment for Democracy (“NED,” directly congressionally funded), the National Democratic Institute (“NDI,” funded by grants from USAID, the Department of State and NED), the International Republican Institute (“IRI,” similarly funded by grants from USAID, the Department of State and NED), Freedom House (also similarly funded by grants from USAID, the Department of State and NED), and a plethora of other NGOs (many funded by George Soros’s infamous Open Society network) have done most of the dirty work.

Understanding the role of NGOs in all of this is crucial—NGOs provide a way for U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund foreign policy actions that are difficult to track and often run counter to the intent of a majority of American voters.
These NGOs all have one thing in common—they are all vocally dedicated to “protecting democracy.” However, when examining their track record of fomenting revolution, it’s arguable that many of the regimes they overthrew were, in fact, democratically elected (at least to standards no more corrupt than America’s 2020 Presidential election). This is particularly true with respect to the Revolution of Dignity and the overthrow of Ukraine’s democratically-elected President, Viktor Yanukovych. Far be it for me to uphold ex-Soviet oligarchs, but it appears that the devotion of these NGOs to “democracy” is actually to “democracies we approve of.” We will come back to the NGOs.

How Do Color Revolutions Work?
There are numerous academic treatises on the features of color revolutions, but my personal research suggests that they rely upon six lines of attack:

1. Funding.
Those U.S. NGOs you see listed above operate by funding other NGOs and individuals inside the targeted nation. Dark U.S. money becomes even darker money inside the targeted nation. These organizations build parallel structures that can operate outside national control and coordinate/sustain protest capacity at a tightly-organized, high level.

2. Training.
The well-funded NGOs and individuals then engage in highly structured activist training programs. Often pyramidal in nature (i.e., “train the trainers”), these programs cover branding, the processing of parallel vote counts, actions that erode the legitimacy of existing governmental institutions and maintaining ostensibly nonviolent discipline to maximize activist legitimacy.

3. Narrative and Symbolism.
The narrative of government illegitimacy must be pushed and repeated over and over and over. Complicit media sources are essential to creating and sustaining this narrative (often with cash changing hands to publish a particular story). Very basic symbolism is also vital. The name “color revolution” itself refers to the use of an inspiring color to unify the activists and present a constant reminder of the surge of activism engulfing the country via clothing, signs and banners—the “Orange Revolution” is a perfect example. Logos, slogans, hashtags and similarly pithy symbolic expressions are essential in delegitimizing the targeted regime and present regime change as the only “democratic” outcome.

4. Electoral Trigger.
A big part of the dark money is used to deploy “independent” election monitors, create fake pre-election polling and fake exit polling, and rapidly publicize perceived “irregularities” to create a clear trigger for mass protests.  NGO networks then convert the disputed vote into sustained mass street action. While the architects of color revolutions consistently highlight the “non-violent” nature of their protests, certain groups are designated to engage in covert (i.e., masked) violent action, and other groups are essentially sent to the slaughter in hopes that the government will violently crack down and create martyrs(Although this name pre-dates color revolutions, such deliberate martyrdom is what I call the “Horst Wessel Strategy.”)

5. Elite pressure.  
This is the process of relying on outside agents of high legitimacy to create public statements of support for the protestors and activists, create targeted sanctions or incentives for the current government to step down, and to quietly engage with military, bureaucratic, and business elites in the targeted government. The aim is to isolate the current government internationally and signal that cooperation with the old regime carries higher costs than accommodation with the protesters.

6. Defection of Security Forces and Military. 
One of the main purposes of all of the above is to convince a nation’s military and security/police forces that they are a part of an illegitimate regime and that the only moral choice is to defect to the opposition. Ramping up violent protests such that these people must choose between firing on their own countrymen or defecting is a fundamental tenet of color revolutions, supposed “non-violent” practices notwithstanding. In high-trust societies where the military is well-respected, this is perhaps the most important tool in the color revolutionary’s tool box. When the military and police defect, the color revolution is over, and it wins.
These are the tools the U.S. government and its well-funded network of NGOs have been using for decades to foment the overthrow of disfavored national governments, all without approval or knowledge of the electorate. Then Donald Trump dismantled USAID, and it all stopped.
Or did it? All those ex-USAID employees had to go find something to do, and boy oh boy did they ever.

Our American Color Revolution
Hopefully by now you are already seeing the parallels between our overseas color revolutions and what we are seeing and experiencing in the USA in 2026.

USAID? Note how many of the videos and audios that @DataRepublican posted involve ex-USAID employees who know their color revolution toolbox cold. NGOs? All of the actions @DataRepublican has uncovered involve NGOs with specific, compartmentalized, plausibly deniable roles: the United Democracy Alliance; 50501; Indivisible; National Security Leaders for America (this one is particularly troubling as it has ~1,600 former military, intelligence and State Department officials behind it); and many more. Some are still relying on funding they derived from U.S. taxpayers before President Trump shut it all down. George Soros funds many of them. Foreign power funding? Maybe—money laundering is a thing. 
It’s the NGOs. 
It’s always the NGOs.

Democracy? Sure, sure, sure. Those NGO plotters are all there to “protect our democracy.” In reality, they are there to overthrow any democratically-elected American they disapprove of, just like happened to some of the democratically-elected regimes we overthrew off our shores. To these people, “democracy” means the right of unelected bureaucrats and well-funded NGOs to control our national destiny. In reality, “democracy” is the very last thing they want.
As to the color revolution toolbox, the similarities to what we are seeing now are simply undeniable:

Funding? Do I even need to explain this one? The NGOs fomenting insurrection in the USA are incredibly well-funded, many by George Soros’ network.

Training? Since 2020 we have seen so many examples of training programs for Antifa and similar groups, all NGO funded. These training programs are designed to train protestors on how to effectively foment civil unrest and, at times, violence. For example, Indivisible’s “One Million Rising” project focuses on training to be able to analyze “pillars of support” for the Trump Administration (business, labor, faith, civil service, law enforcement, etc.) and tactics to weaken them.  Specific examples include pressuring local sheriffs not to cooperate with ICE, “Signs of Solidarity” campaigns targeting businesses, and sustained local campaigns against lawful Trump Administration actions. Sign-up language for such training has included “Let’s get organized. Let’s stop Trump." Indivisible materials state the goal of mobilizing people “to defeat MAGA” and disrupt policy through noncooperation and active protest. (This effort has received up to $7,600,000 in Soros funding, by the way.)

Narrative and Symbolism? Again, do I really need to elaborate? The legacy media cannot report on election integrity without stating that Donald Trump’s complaints about the 2020 election are “baseless.” We are awash in stories about how the Trump Administration’s efforts to ensure election integrity are instead a nefarious plot to steal the midterm elections. Today, the Washington Post — obviously in a hurried and desperate effort to get out in front of the revelations from @DataRepublican — published an anonymously-sourced article favorably describing the coup efforts she uncovered. If you read this article, it does not talk about a coup conspiracy. Instead it talks about a bunch of well-meaning, patriotic, anonymous ex-national security officials simply trying to protect America from the evil dictator Trump destroying “our democracy.” This article itself is straight out of the color revolution toolbox—it is propaganda designed to condition a populace to accept illegitimate actions. The Washington Post is part of the plot. As to symbolism, do “No Kings” and the “Resistance” mean anything to you?  Again, these slogans/symbols are straight out of the color revolution toolbox.

Electoral Trigger? When you listen to the videos and audios released by @DataRepublican, the plotters consistently speak of the midterms as being the trigger for action. Again, these ex-USAID diplomats could not possibly speak more clearly in their intent to overthrow the Trump Presidency via the color revolution tactics they learned in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.  (Oh yeah, as to the trigger creating useful idiot martyrs, do the names Renée Good and Alex Pretti ring a bell?)

Elite Pressure? While we see European Union nations constantly decrying Trump — which is actually part of the plot—the twist in a domestic color revolution is that the elite pressure will come directly from Democrat governors. The uncovered plot relies on the idea that rampant street protests will result in a crisis in legitimacy via Trump needing to invoke the Insurrection Act, such that Democrat and RINO governors declare themselves the only legitimate U.S. authority, up to and including reaching out to foreign powers for recognition. (Geez, that kind of feels like the Confederacy asking Queen Victoria to acknowledge their sovereignty, doesn’t it?) The final step here will be to overthrow the Constitution as we know it—they said so.

Defection of Security Forces and Military? This is another one I feel like I really do not need to explain. Seditious Six, anyone? This feature of the domestic color revolution has been in plain sight for quite some time. Our nation's survival really depends on this not working. Given the institutional resistance to Department of War reforms from some of the senior military brass and the cabal of senior, unelected bureaucrats in the Senior Executive Service who have trashed their oaths via passive resistance to the electoral will of the American people, this is a real issue of concern. If the plotters can turn some of the generals and bureaucrats actively against their Commander-in-Chief, we are in real trouble. Fortunately, I think this is the weak point of the plot and why it will ultimately fail. Our military ranks are still filled almost totally with patriots who will honor their oath to the Constitution.
The plot is afoot. It’s real. It’s here. A color revolution is currently being attempted in the USA by the same people who so adroitly manipulated the fates of millions of Eastern Europeans and Central Asians some twenty years ago.

What Can We Do?
My X feed is awash with concerned patriots asking this same question. All of us—everyone of us—can do these three things:
1. Pray.

2. Call your Congressman/woman and Senators and demand an investigation. Light up the switchboards. MAKE THEM pay attention.

3. Tell everyone you know. Make them listen to this shocking audio, if nothing else. The time is past caring if midwit Cousin Susie or face tattoo Nephew Timmy will cut you off because you support our President. Make them listen. The time is late. Our nation and our freedoms are at risk.
One more thing—for some of us, the answer is to be prepared. Most of you know what I mean, I’ll leave it there.

In a Washington DC conference room last month, some of the most senior Democrats in the US Senate gathered to plan for a prospect that only recently would have felt more akin to science fiction: they started to wargame democracy.

Chuck Schumer, the US Senate minority leader, and senators including Alex Padilla, Adam Schiff, Mark Warner, Elissa Slotkin and Raphael Warnock were among those in the room as a team of legal experts offered scenarios.

The first: realistic deepfake videos, created with artificial intelligence, showing “evidence” of widespread election fraud, spreading through social media a few weeks before voting begins.

Forensic experts discredit the videos quickly as synthetic in the given scenario, but rightwing media – and the US president – amplify the claims, nonetheless. Election workers begin receiving death threats. Armed men start appearing at polls.

If you’re a Democratic senator, what would you do?
“These tabletop exercises are a standard planning tool for experts and stakeholders to prepare for potential scenarios. We’re not predicting exactly what would happen,” said Justin Vail, who leads the DC office of the non-partisan advocacy group Protect Democracy. “But we do want to create a realistic context that can help us identify gaps, test our assumptions, and strengthen coordination, and then ultimately develop some recommendations to increase our preparedness.”

Senate Democrats have held two election disruption exercises this year. Trump threatened the broadcast licenses of networks that refused to carry the address live. In his speech, he again implored Congress to pass the Save America Act, which would ban mail-in ballots nationwide and impose new identification requirements on voters when they register and report to polls. “The development of AI will only add to the complexity and could create confusion among voters in our fragmented media landscape,” said Vail. “Unfortunately, that confusion can be to the benefit of the administration’s strategy.”

FCC enforcement actions seem relatively mild compared to more extreme scenarios, like planning a response to armed vigilantes in tactical gear at ballot drop boxes – which was not a hypothetical problem in Arizona during the 2022 midterms. Senators were asked to plan responses for online license-plate doxxing, a midnight firebombing of an early voting site and a last-minute unilateral deployment of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents and the national guard to polling stations.

The main lesson of the exercise “is that this is an all-hands-on-deck moment, and it is an all-hands-on-deck response”, said Perryman. “And so what that means is that, we’re not looking at any one silver bullet to be able to fully protect elections. It’s going to take all of us.”

This is not even real… a group of retired admirals, ex-USAID bureaucrats and professional protest organizers got caught on their own recordings working out the conditions under which they get to declare the government of the United States illegitimate, and somehow we are supposed to believe they are the ones protecting democracy.

Here is what @DataRepublican put out in Part 2 of the Democracy Files. The videos come from a group called Renew to Thrive, with Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz in key roles, and it sits inside a much bigger umbrella called the United Democracy Alliance, which she describes as the hush-hush control room for groups like 50501 and Indivisible, deciding when protests get deployed, the timelines and how to respond. National Security Leaders for America, 1,600 former military, intelligence and diplomatic officials led by retired Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith, is credited with operationalizing the whole thing. On tape they lay out a list of "redlines," and invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed… and as she lays it out, they shopped the idea around to governors who don't even have to sign anything, all a governor has to do is refuse federal troops and let the network do the rest.

Make no mistake about who Mike Smith is. His own organization's bio says he founded and led National Security Leaders for Biden, more than 1,100 members with an endorsement letter signed by 780 of them, and now he runs a "non partisan" group that just cares so deeply about the oath. But hey… I am sure it is totally nonpartisan this time.

And the very same morning the Washington Post runs a story about a small group of current and former Defense Department officials quietly advising governors, election officials and lawmakers in 10 states on how to prepare for the Trump administration "interfering" in the midterms, rehearsing what to do if a federal agent asks for access to ballots or machines. Different names, same message… the elected federal government is the threat, and the people who run the elections are the ones who need protecting from it.

Let me put it to you like this. They are building the excuse before the event even happens. They coordinate the protests, they decide in advance which government response crosses their line, and then they hold that response up as proof the whole government is illegitimate and the governors should take over. How exactly is that defending the Constitution? If a room full of retired conservative officers got caught on tape role playing how to declare a Democrat president illegitimate, the FBI would be knocking on doors before the coffee got cold and every network in the country would run it wall to wall.

I am angry about this, and I think most of you are not angry enough. These people swore an oath to the Constitution, not to a party, and they are treating the legitimacy of an elected government like a privilege they get to revoke the minute the voters pick somebody they don't like. As DataRepublican puts it, almost any effective pushback against their NGOs counts as illegitimate in their book. Where is the outrage from the people who spent five years lecturing you about threats to democracy?

Admiral Smith, Ms. Reiff, Dr. Zeitz… release every recording in full and explain to the American people, under oath, exactly what you were planning for the day after.

What you need to know to plan and respond.

President Trump has made clear that he intends to use every tool at his disposal to try to influence the outcomes of the 2026 midterm elections. From its earliest days, the Trump administration has attempted to rewrite election rules through executive order, manipulate voter rolls by amassing private voter data, seize 2020 voting materials in order to relitigate repeatedly debunked claims of election fraud, and called for the federal government to “nationalize” election administration.

The good news is that federal and state laws guard against the types of election interference the president has threatened. Most fundamentally, the Constitution gives the president no authority to set election rules; that power belongs to the states and Congress.

And there’s an upside to the administration making its unlawful intentions so clear: we can prepare.

This guide outlines practical steps advocates can take to prepare for federal interference in the 2026 elections. It
also walks through four scenarios intended to help advocates better understand the law concerning these
emerging issues:

1. New executive orders purporting to regulate elections
2. Efforts by the Trump administration to force states to purge voters from the rolls
3. Federal efforts to seize voting equipment, ballots, or other election materials
4. Deployment of the military or federal officers (such as National Guard troops or ICE agents) to intimidate voters

With planning and information, advocates, organizers, lawyers, journalists, and election officials can identify federal
threats to our elections, spot falsehoods, understand the constraints on the administration, and stand up for free
and fair elections.

🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 4: YES, MANY ARE AWARE OF THE GOALS 🚨

This one is a thread because there are multiple materials. 

On January 15, 2026, Renew American Democracy (RAD), the strategy built around the Democracy Renewal Group's (DRG) ex-USAID democracy officers, held planning exercises for "emergency scenarios" and how it'd affect their "strategic objectives."

RAD's explicit goal is in catalyzing those so-called "emergency scenarios" to manifest "structural reform" - the rewriting of American governance which the previous drops have covered. 

RAD/DRG hold the unique role within the wider blocking / protest alliance of defining what the new government looks like, presumably because they are made of ex-USAID officers who have specialized in installing new governments. As @MikeBenzCyber last night said on his stream, these DRG members come from the CIA coup parts of USAID.

It's been suggested that DRG is just a fringe group within the much larger blocking/protest ecosystem. This morning's interim video mentioning Mike Smith disproved that. And PART 4 disproves that further - the wider network is well aware of DRG and that its goal is to secure a new government. 

They will dress it in the language that it's Trump who will provoke it, and they're only preventing a true Constitutional crisis. In reality, there's a million ways to interpret what a "red line" is, and many ways to get Trump to cross it. Already, articles everywhere are telegraphing that Trump *will* cross it in the form of the Insurrection Act or martial law, softening us up for the coup ahead.

The below clip shows Danielle Reiff of DRG pitching her vision to an audience including Washington state's Secretary of State, Steve Hobbs. 

She explains the red-line scenarios and ultimately a vision of creating a "cross-partisan" government in the wake of an illegitimate federal government. 

Her three "democratic emergency" scenarios should be familiar by now: 

· Election meltdown - which includes a widespread public loss of trust in election results
· Insurrection Act deployed against protesters
· An attempt to delay seating of legitimately elected officials post-election 

If the federal government becomes illegitimate in her view because of the above, then she proposes a cross-partisan system of transitional governance. She names a cross-partisan board of governors, as well President Obama and President Bush as potential transitional leaders. 

WA SoS Hobbs replies to Reiff that he has had the exact same conversation with German and Japanese officials regarding how to deal with AfD and right-wing nationalist parties. Now, to be fair, he does not want to commit because, in his words, "we're winning." But he doesn't disagree either. 

Note also that here and in other recordings, "election meltdown" does not mean some sort of flashy media crisis. It means, simply, a large segment of the population doesn't believe the election results are legitimate.
