FACT SHEET: THE EPSTEIN FILES RELEASE
Thanks to court seals being lifted as a result of President Trump enacting the Epstein
Transparency Act, the Department of Justice is releasing thousands of pages of photos
and other material related to Jeffrey Epstein.
• The Trump Administration is continuing its unprecedented support for Epstein Transparency
after the Biden Administration declined to make any files public.
• The first Trump Administration was prosecuting Jeffrey Epstein for heinous crimes at the time
of his death. The Obama Administration declined to investigate Epstein.
WHY IS THIS MATERIAL BEING RELEASED NOW?
• Prior to President Trump's enactment of the Epstein Transparency Act, various Judges had
declined the Trump Department of Justice's requests to unseal Epstein related material. The
enactment of the new Law gave the judges a legal predicate they found sufficient for granting
the Trump Administration's standing requests before the Courts to unseal the files.
HOW MUCH MORE MATERIAL CAN WE EXPECT TO BE RELEASED?
• The Department of Justice has hundreds of thousands of pages of material to release, including
material that must comply with court orders. These court orders can slow the Department of
Justice's ability to review and redact material but will not prevent the release of this material.
The Department of Justice has more than 200 lawyers working around the clock reviewing
each individual file for release. This is an arduous process, as each document and photograph
must be individually reviewed by DOJ and the Southern District of New York for potential
redactions to protect victims or potential victims.
WHAT IS BEING REDACTED?
• The Department of Justice is committed to transparency and redacting only what is legally
required. The Department is required by law to redact identifying information about the
victims, minors, or potential victims, as well as privileged material. NO redactions have been or
will be made to protect famous individuals or politically exposed persons.
WHY HAVE SOME PHOTOS BEEN RELEASED AND THEN REMOVED?
• As material is released, the Department of Justice has received incoming from individuals
alleging to be victims and their lawyers, requesting that certain information be removed. Out of
an abundance of caution, the material is temporarily removed for review and will be released
again with appropriate redactions if legally required.

Genesis Plan started in 2022 and it revolves around the complex concept of intergovernmental transfers, which in simple terms is when a local hospital or county makes a transfer to the state Medicaid agency for payments of medical services such as ambulance rides
- After the transfers are made, the state can then request a matching amount of money from the federal government
- But Gavin Newsom's California abused this system by raising the price of a simple ambulance ride by nearly 300%
- Then once the local hospitals made the transfer to the state and the state received the matching funds from the federal government
- California then instead paid a private ambulance service which cost only a fraction of the original price, pocketing the difference.”
This is one of the most dishonest frauds against taxpayers ever created, Gavin Newsom stole billions with this fraud 
Gavin Newsom reimbursement rates for public ambulance services by up to 500% (from $339 to $1,600 per ride in some approvals), prompting local governments or hospitals to transfer those inflated amounts to the state via IGTs. 
The state then claims federal matching dollars, typically at a 50% rate, before reimbursing private ambulance providers at the original lower cost, effectively pocketing the surplus federal funds to offset state budget shortfalls

Newly-released emails show they knew they didn't have probable cause for a search warrant.

The FBI searched the former First Lady's underwear drawer.

Miranda Devine: Oh, absolutely, but I mean, it's not just revenge, it's accountability for the country.
So that this kind of targeted use of the Department of Justice and the FBI, for political purposes never happens again.
And we saw, you know, my colleague actually, Josh Christenson, has an update to that story, which is outrageous enough.
But he says that there are emails that Senator Chuck Grassley will be unveiling at some point, which show that there was coordination between the Biden White House, the Merrick Garland Department of Justice, and the National Archives and Records Administration, which was leading the push on trying to get these documents back.
And, you know, we know that the FBI field office, Washington, D.C. field office head, was a guy by the name of Steven D'Antuono, and he's by no means a Trump lover.
He led the January 6th investigations, but he pushed back very hard on the Department of Justice, on the prosecutors, particularly Jay Bratt, who is the prosecutor who was just going hell for leather, wanting to just create this circus, this affront to President Trump to humiliate him, to make him look like he was a criminal.
And Stephen D'Antuano, and Steven D'Antuono, from the FBI said, no, we don't need to do that.
President Trump's lawyers, attorneys are talking with us, are cooperating.
So there's no need to make this fuss.
And Jay Bratt went over his head to Christopher Wray, and Christopher Wray's deputy of the FBI, Paul Abbate, and they overruled the head of the Washington field office.
So the FBI was very reluctant in having to join in this raid.
It was pushed by the Department of Justice and the Biden White House.
And interestingly, at the end of this email conversation between them that went on for several months or several weeks, the White House says, "oh, let's take this conversation offline" because they were aware of how incriminating it looked.
