It's a popularity ranking voted by old, lonely men ogling at girls in bikini intespeded with right-wing op-eds and articles. 

With Sayachi and Non not only out of WNI but also out of weather forecasting, it's natural Yui is now shining (still under 30 but a 6 year veteran). I'm surprised at Richan's and Airin's high rankings (Riena wasn't there last year and seems to like the low profile; Airin's still young too but at age 37 is "old" for incel creeps) and at WNI casters almost taking half of the Top 20 since it's an internet service.

OTOH, other than the top 1 announcer, there's no Fuji TV casters on the top 20.
