Gmail locked me out of my account because I logged into a new computer and didn't realise i had 2fa.

In deltachat, you can switch to a different email address within the same identity, but keep the old address around as a backup relay. But protonmail might be one of those retarded ass MTAs that strips out autocrypt headers or something. Fucking gei >🏳️‍🌈 as hell

I hate 2fa. My phone got stolen by a pickpocketer and it took weeks to get back into my accounts. I couldn't get back in until the new sim came because all these services require me to use my existing phone number.

And for google specifically, it was an extra issue because they send a verification prompt to your device rather than SMS to your phone number.

And for telegram, they told me they wouldn't let me back into my account unless I bought premium. I had a password on that account, but they wouldn't even let me try my password. They only allowed 2fa, and said they weren't willing to send me a 2fa sms unless I bought premium.
