Your impulse is right, we have no agency to take liberty in declaring doctrine. That's why protestantism holds dearly to "sola scriptura", that scripture alone is the authority for Christian teaching. Any doctrine is either true or false based on if it's accurately grounded in what the Bible says.

Let's get a thread started for some cool online Christian resources (Youtube channels, websites, blogs, podcasts, internet radio, etc.)

I'll start with a Youtube channel that does absolutely fantastic renditions of the words of C. S. Lewis:

CSLewisDoodle:

https://www.youtube.com/user/CSLewisDoodle

This may be quite a bit before Christmas, but is their most recent video, and one of their best, from what I've seen in my opinion:

"A Christmas Sermon for Pagans"

Even more detailed and official explanations exhibit pilpul as going beyond merely being a synonym for doublespeak:

As a orthodox christian i recommend Jay Dyers channel and website:

https://jaysanalysis.com/
https://www.youtube.com/user/jaydyer

He is former protestant and catholic who turned orthodox 10 years ago(?).

Also protestant and catholics will find his content interesting because he quite often debates catholics and protestants about theology. I personally enjoy his debates against pagans, as i use to be one.

Jay Dyer vs. Erick Ybarra (catholic) debate about Papacy: https://youtube.com/watch?v=pkIfo15jV-8

Jay Dyer vs. Nick Fuentes (catholic): https://youtube.com/watch?v=y5TrGzQ8woQ

Jay Dyer vs. Boglord Dave Martel about paganism: https://youtube.com/watch?v=GLlGNihWIJ4

Also this is good too "Genesis vs. Atheism & paganism": https://youtube.com/watch?v=_0RN4CHxUzc

Brothers please pray for me, I am in desperate need of your prayers. Let’s just say that lately I’ve found myself at Vanity Fair, and the temptation of cheese pizza has been very strong.

Please pray for the Lord to remove my pedo desires and fantasies from me. Also please pray that I not be left alone with any children till He does, since I’m fairly confident that if I were alone with an attractive child for a prolonged period I would probably end up touching them

ITT we discuss Hebraism and the New Testament.
> what's Judaising?
By definition here, "Judaiding" will be referred to by the official definition by the Catholic church, i.e. Hebraists who keep the Law of the Old Testament. While Paul may have came up with the term, it was to refer to people who viewed circumcision as necessary for salvation, i.e. they taught works based salvation based on the Old Covenant.
Think of Judaising as adopting a "Hebrew" life though still having your own tribal identity, just as Persian and Turkish Muslims live as Arabs.
> why do you Judaise?
The Mosaic law still applies as it's the ideal way that the Father wants us to live. All of Jesus's teachings in the New Testament go back to the Mosaic law. Christians don't recognise this, and say that the Law had ended and now we're under the "Law of Christ", which is simply untrue. Moreover, they mix the cosmology and metaphysics of the Old Testament with a Greek cosmology and metaphysics, because Gospels were written in Greek.
> KIKE!!
This thread is not about the jews of modern times. This thread is specifically about Bronze Age and Second Temple Israelites, whereas modern jews descend from Moabite and Edomite tribes moved into Judea around 200BC, who don't follow the old Jahwist religion anymore and instead follow their own doctrines of man.

> Where you're wrong is that we're heirs of the new world, and thus we shouldn't follow the Law anymore.
We should always follow the law, even into eternity. That’s because the law represents God’s character. It is not an arbitrary thing, the laws of God are innately good and reflect not only the divine character but also the created order. This is why men died even when there was no law, because creation itself testifies to the law, and so men even in ignorance sin against God willingly.
> we're still under the Law
Then we are still in our sin and there is no life in us. Have you sinned? Does the law not promise death for sin? Then by your own admission you deserve not to live with Christ, from whom all life is derived, but to die like a criminal.
> we're not living under the laws of a new world, spiritually.
You are contradicting the entire New Testament. Do you dismiss the New Testament? If so, what revelation do you bring forward? Or is this a religion of your own design?

 >>/321/
> We should always follow the law, even into eternity. (...) the laws of God are innately good and reflect not only the divine character but also the created order.

Jesus corrected and added to the Law multiple times. Paul spoke how you are bound by the Law only until you die and how it is not for a righteous man. Moses broke the initial 10 commandments thrashing them against the ground when he saw Hebrews worship golden calf and only then this entire legalistic insanity was added because of transgression as "statutes not good, And judgments by which they do not live" (Ezekiel 20:25).
Spirit of the Law is wildly different than the letter and we follow the spirit.

 >>/324/
> Jesus corrected and added to the Law
Marcionism.
> Paul spoke how you are bound by the Law only until you die and how it is not for a righteous man
Yes, we are not bound to the law, because we have died in Christ, and that has nothing to do with what I said.
> Moses broke the initial 10 commandments thrashing them against the ground when he saw Hebrews worship golden calf
So you think this somehow means there was something wrong with those commandments? Even though what angered him was a violation of those very commandments, and the tablets were replaced?
> Spirit of the Law is wildly different than the letter and we follow the spirit.
I don’t know why you think this is contradictory to me, it seems less consistent with what you said

 >>/317/
> It's almost like you've lost the track of the conversation. Neighbour in the Law is a fellow Hebrew since 'thy people'.
Probably because it's the Old Covenant. Thy people were immediately Law-observant Hebrews.
> Neighbour in Jesus' teaching is your fellow human being, not just your fellow Christian.
Nonsense. Jesus clearly states who your "neighbour" is in Luke 10:25-37.
> It is a summary of the message of the Law, not a direct citation.
A message of the tribalistic interpretation the Pharisees were engaged in. Following the Law to the word, but not to its Spirit.
> "'And concerning those of the nations who have believed, we have written, having given judgment, that they observe no such thing, except to keep themselves both from idol-sacrifices, and blood, and a strangled thing, and whoredom.' "
They weren't allowed to enter the Second Temple, and as such they were practicing Christianity themselves among their own people, thus they didn't practice such rituals.
> And while it might seem like mental acrobatics what Paul did there does fit 1 Corinthians 9:20
Perhaps, though Paul as a Benjaminite and former Pharisee willingly observed the Law as he did before instead of just practice it to gain the jews as followers.
> When Paul wrote about it he made separation between body and internal man. Your body will die (or will be transformed if you live through to see Jesus' return) your internal man is saved already
What then is the internal man? Is it not your bodily heart?
 >>/318/
This is where things get sloppy. Just because we're saved by Christ's atonement, this doesn't mean that we shouldn't follow the Law. Until all is fulfilled, we should follow the model to live a good life, we are not to follow iniquity as saved people.

Marriages as contracts, starting and ending at will; corruption of moral values and family; pornography and perversion of all things; state-educated children; inversion of man/woman roles; effeminacy and unbridled consumerism; glorification of deformed bodies; rejection and ridicule of tradition. These are a few problems in our societies, all of which Christianity condemn. The problem of race-mixing does not exist in a vacuum. 95% of interracial relationships are based on Muh Dik. Christianity condemns Muh Dik. If Christianity is what you claim it is, why hasn't this happened in Europe in the last ten centuries? It seems that the goals you have mentioned are much more easily achieved in secular/atheist societies.

 >>/117/
Yes the bible is obviously against race mixing. For example in genesis 1 man was created. Then in Genesis 2 Adam and Eve were created. This leads to the simple conclusion that God never intended us to mix with other races. Read it genesis 1 is the account of the creation of man. Genesis 2 recounts the creation of Adam. Also Adam means to show blood in the face in hebrew.

 >>/117/
Nehemiah 13:3
"Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude."
You will NEVER hear this verse unless you genuinely read the bible. Or you know someone autistic enough to read through the bible constantly to pick out verses such as this. Basically any christian who race mixes is breaking the commandments of God.

''Then the Lion shall lay down with the Lamb and the bear shall eat grass like
the ox and the child shall play on the hole of the asp and nothing
shall hurt nor destroy in all My Holy Mountain.''

Now check it with your bible.

Sorry guy but if you don't understand imageboard lingo then maybe you shouldn't feel so cocksure about sending people away.
Debts makes no sense.
Bottles for a 1611 authorized KJV makes no sense, it's a modern word.
Wolf makes absolutely no sense in context of it's lack of presence in language compared to lion. There's no such thing as mass schizophrenia and you can still find ministries, pubs and hotels named "Lion and the Lamb". Just look how many quotations most having to do with warring entities coming to peace
https://archive.org/details/tv?q=lion%20and%20the%20lamb

Something's happening and as uncomfortable as it is for you it's not going away.

 >>/253/
> Bottles for a 1611 authorized KJV makes no sense, it's a modern word.
It's not, but even if it were the 1611 KJV is written in early modern english
https://www.etymonline.com/word/bottle

I'm not uncomfortable, because nothing is happening that is concerning. People corporately misremember things.

Who started this meme of referring to EO and RC churches corporately as "apostolic"? I have only seen it on 8chan and 4chan.
It's a contradictory usage, the eastern orthodox and the roman catholics each claim that the other schismed away from the apostolic faith. Even more, the term "apostolic christian" is heavily associated with anabaptists, who are a product of the radical reformation.

Imageboard roman catholics are engaged in self deception. They are adult or teenage converts from non-catholic families, as a lifelong and certain catholic doesn't feel the need to behave this way. They probably arrived on catholicism because they bought the meme about ancient catholic traditionalism, or the broad systematic theology of the Roman church that seems to have a coherent stance on every issue, but instead of studying apologetics and theology they simply delve into ritual.
Pic related

This is the same phenomenon as American prosperity gospel followers, "you just didn't believe hard enough" = "you just didn't pray the rosary hard enough".
 >>/109/

> They probably arrived on Catholicism because they bought the meme about ancient catholic traditionalism

Agreed. The same can be said of imageboard/e-Orthodox.

> Pic related

However, other than the "Pray the Rosary" meme, I can't really tell what you're trying to get at with that pic.

tl;dr of the last few months:

> Mass shooters tied to 8chan (esp. Christchurch)
> Public pressure mounts against 8chan
> several companies on the technical end drop support for 8chan as a customer
> US Congress schedules a hearing for Jim, the owner
> Site is announced to go down until at least Sept 5 (yesterday)
> Posters (esp /pol/) scatter to all over the web, especially endchan, 4chan, 08chan
> Jim provides a statement that if 8chan comes back up, it will have new safety measures

Now is the time for us to reevaluate our situation. If there is credible reason to think that 8chan will be compromised when it comes back online, we should not return.
If not, is this our new permanent residence?

I doubt that the admin of nanochan would allow a Christian board unless we had a sizable population move over, and even then the posters there would demand that it be excluded from the overboard, or deleted entirely.
