I guess I am giving it one more shot, if half of my important drivers DNF or collapse inexplicably again in Frankfurt, Giro, this will be it for goombling and caring about it.
Not saying I am not playing again after that but you can't be having bad luck for a month, with two (2) cat tree (3) exceptions.

 >>/82481/
But it has been a month, I do all the boring picks, they die, I try to be clever, they die, the ones that are supposed to suck don't suck, like Lenny who has been ill a few days ago.
 >>/82483/
I did repent for a long time now.
 >>/82484/
That smug means you're never seeing that gold star kek, especially if I run out of fugs to give about even the /CYC/ GC shits.

 >>/82490/
Bertman, don't give me that shit about playing "just for fun", I've been here long enough to see how it looks when you're rolling into it.
I care just enough for a stupid fake credits game, now I have seen my mistake, maybe a sign from heavens.

 >>/82494/
don't project on me, I play for fun
I even play the female races and I play on sporza too lmao
I enjoy it, it adds a factor to care about minor riders and I enjoy the puzzles
ofcourse it's not fun if you're doing bad but there's a billion races, we're not even halfway through the superclassico

 >>/82486/
> Lenny who has been ill a few days ago
Knowers knew this was just an excuse and the real reason was that he took too much dope and would have still glowed on the day of LBL.
But on a serious note, did they even say he was sick? Because I don't remember it.

 >>/82500/
I'm sorry but this is some smol man female cop out from a guy who can't help himself from overreacting to every other happening on the parcours and telling other people all the time to calm down when he himself needs to calm down.
I know, I can't tell a joke or performative bertsmanship, I'm autistic, haha.

 >>/82486/
 >>/82505/
Dredged up the Bahrain press release:
> From our side, we decided not to race Lenny Martinez at Liège – Bastogne – Liège to allow him to recover fully, as Romandie is one of his main targets. He will share leadership with Antonio Tiberi, and we expect a strong performance from both.
No mention of illness.

 >>/82518/
When I see more all caps, cringy wordplay, frogposting then I will believe that all those way too soon "he gone/he won't make it/he can't be good because reason" is playful performance, otherwise control group is just normalposting like on cyclingnews or watching in a bar over a beer.
 >>/82522/
Surely this psyops to hide his real illness.

> 40 years draught because we're a clean nation
> too talent comes and give us hope
> everybody act like he's doped
Really we're not being rewarded for carrying this sport for so long

last time I was in Wien I went to one outside the inner city that mostly had old ladies in it and your typical Wiener Grantler service. ate breakfast for 10€, which is half the price these days you pay for shitty hotel breakfast.

Everyone is riding today but us.
Bertman, Brtek, Bernds, Bertele is racing, probably some ameriberts are on a ride as well.
But I was washing me bike and at the gym, and have to start on that ratatat now so that counts.

yeah
last time I checked one of these public streams it was a great time with lots of shitposting both from obvious jesters and genuine boomers who posted shit like > curious how germany and france haven't had competitive riders in the tour the past 20 years huh maybe we're too honest huh I think pog may be doping
I wonder how these buckos take the emergence of seixas since then

 >>/82760/
I was not depressed, I was disappointed.
Like you're disappointed in a girl you perhaps had some hopes around but she gives you anudda one after anudda one, and you have seen this movie enough times before to just leave it alone.
But it is nice to hit it once.

Just think, in 2013 Zimmerman was shooting innocent children who didn't do nothing

Now he's winning WT races in his national champion's jersey. Guy really turned his life around

I'm getting GP Herning fever. Li Ning Star legend Alexander Salby is racing in Denmark tomorrow so we can expect some big fireworks.
I'm not even sure the race has any TV coverage this year.

I recently tested 2000€ "worth" of helmets after my trusted giro agilis died and surprisingly went with the julbo finisher
worst one was the pogi carbon helmet from met, the mips insert had hard edges which scratched my head (might have been a bad model but still ridiculous for such an expensive helmet)

I don't live in the alps, which I don't mind as I'm not really a climber and our passes are often cobbled.
I have a variety of hills, lakes and rivers in my 50km radius, I prefer the agricultural roads or roads that don't have much traffic. I don't like Swiss car drivers too much, they can't be arsed to properly overtake you, while those with German numberplate even change to the neighboring lane to overtake you.

I'm recreating Kraftwerk's Tour de France with modern lyrics.

I wanted to sample some stuff and wanted ideas for good quotes

Remco sometimes you need the balls to race
Pogi fuck you man
Mohoric it's hard and cruel to be a professional cyclist
Mollema Fucking SRAM

Other ideas? I need to be able to rip high quality audio, not potato quality

> “I hope the motorbikes weren’t too close, because that was the case for the past two days,” Paret-Peintre expressed his frustration to Eurosport after the finish in Charmey. Pogacar had claimed his third stage victory of the week there shortly before. Paret-Peintre was in the early breakaway but was caught along with Primoz Roglic when Pogacar unleashed his attack on the Jaunpass. UAE Emirates XRG had kept the attackers within striking distance throughout the day.

> “But anyway, if the organizers want Pogacar to win, that is their choice. We have said it several times already, but that is life,” continued Paret-Peintre, who dropped out in the final kilometers.

While people from /cyc/ were doing /cyc/ things I was doing /vsg/ things and played that new Heroes of Might and Magic.
Not bad, comfy factor very low because the aesthetics are browser game slop tier but you can slightly adjoost.
It is a different game but they have kept a lot of legacy. The sounds of pickups are very similar, some objects are very similar, the spirit is there but the overall package is clearly targeted at teenagers.

I've been sitting here working on a from scratch cover of Kraftwerk's TdF. I have the drum sequencing like 75% done. Eggs have not been scored in like two weeks.

I never really played the old HoMM games, the new one just seems like nostalgia bait for people who did.

 >>/83036/
ableton, but I'm programming all the sequencing in the drum machine (syntakt) and then will just record the drum pattern. Then record synth parts and then do all the sampling in Ableton

Kraftwerk is pretty simple with their drum patterns.

Hardest part is going to be all the panning/stereo effects, they go crazy with those and really adds so much depth to an otherwise simple track

Well I did not crash today in the race, but I DNF'd due to a mechanical. There's this small cobbles section and I think my shifting there caused the chain to drop, and it got stuck in the BB area so I couldn't get it on anymore. Had to stop and battle with it for 15s before I could get it on. No way to get the peloton back after that and I just stopped.
Was a fun race otherwise though and I felt very good, was reasonably easy to stay in the top10 throughout and it was much easier to ride there compared to yo-yoing at the back. I even attacked a couple times myself in the adrenaline rush. All in all I got a nice confidence boost from this, I didn't know I could hang with the elite peloton so well. Aiming for a top10 result tomorrow in the hilly crit, I'll try and attack and get a good result from the breakaway.

 >>/83029/
 >>/83030/
it is hard to describe
i am talking about polish "hikers" no czech'em-polish border specifically, but most of them are loud, obnoxious even. some of them are nakes, a significant % of them is wearing "POLSKA" everywhere. On t-shirts, on bags, on caps.
Can you imagine going somewhere and have you're country's insignia embeded to your shit?

 >>/83056/
He lost to Wout (forma exploded knee) so he might also lose to your Mads Pedalsens and Jasper Philipsens if they happen to be in good shape for the race.
A little more oomph in a flat sprint would do him good for Paris Roubaix.

 >>/83057/
idk he's so far behind anyone who has any kind of sprint there's no way he can ever get good enough at that for this to matter.
The only way I see him win is that he somehow manages to hold an infernal pace over a hard cobble section and then keep the resulting gap to the finish. I don't think he can ever get to a point where he can attack hard enough to drop the rest, it has got to be some attrition thing over the course of minutes. Or RNG

 >>/83064/
There is a pretty big chance I am not wearing a sportsball shirt ever again, I am too big for any old one I have (I think I only own some chink knock off of Olympique Marseille which will contain my belly but explode on my shoulders now) and I am well into transitioning into old man clothes like shirts, polos and straight pants with a dash of urban outdoor.
But my subhumans? They live through their club and their befriended ultras groups. That's an easy starter pack from internet back in the old days:
> buzzcut
> shitty football and prison themed tattoos
> looking for trouble after 3 months of mma training
> if not physical activity then wear some polska-hooligan-subhumanpolskarap t-shirt
> if physical activity then wear muay-thai/bjj shorts
> white socks black sports shoes
> manpurse
> cheap bmw welded from 3 other cars
> every photo is one fist raised to face level
> subhuman dog breed on photo
> subhuman tatted up bitch with lip fillers on photo
Now that I am thinking about it is pretty specific to polska. These do not compare do deanos, do not compare to gopniks, I guess truly the bougnoule and any other swarthoid is the closest relative.

Salby DNF today. But don't worry tomorrow he will be back in action in the 111th edition of Fyen Rundt and another /cyc/ legend Bart Buijk will also be there.
I would say please watch our race but I think there wont be any TV pictures for this one either.

 >>/83076/
For me it's the birbs, it is fine when I expect them to sound off but not fun when I don't.
Hated pidgins outside the window when I was a kid but now they're pretty nostalgic and I like them.
But blackbirds, these mfs. I don't know why but they're screaming well into the evening and I can't unhear them. They also remind me of the times when I was coming home shitfaced in the morning so that doesn't help either.

 >>/83083/
yea its piss these gappy cassettes only work for small mtb chainrings or super casuals who don't give a fuck about pedaling. No road or gravel cassette should have 2 tooth jumps before the 15t cog at the very least

 >>/83083/
My Sram XPLR has 10-11-12-13-15-17 and the lack of 14t sucks, I am always lacking that gear when I do threshold efforts. But yeah, otherwise 1by is great.
Race starts in 1h. Bicarb is in, just took a caffeine pill, feeling good. It's a big field, nearly all the big hitters of the Finnish pro peloton are there - even 4cyc's other Finnbert with 5w/kg+ FTP.

 >>/83096/
its a great alloy man AlSc alloys are extra brittle so it can crack easier (after warranty runs out) kek. Frame is not even light its like 1500g in mid size, as heavy or heavier than any carbon aero frame and worse in every regard, we live in a society

 >>/83092/
Don't feel authorized unless Bertele posts it himself because what next, posting his name and the other Bertele's name?
But I also don't feel like making it a big sekrit for knowers, ciclismo is pyoraily in Finnish, you'll find live timing rather easily.

Well I was 23rd today. Our captains were 2nd and 5th so very good team result. My job was to ride the hill on every lap semi hard to tire people out and prevent big attacks, and that succeeded. I even did a one lap solo breakaway after the hill, heh. Anyway, 3 laps to go a breakaway of 10 formed after the hill and I didn't pursue that as our captains were there. Final hill I had good legs but I could not navigate well in the big bunch and had to brake a couple of times. Overall good feeling, good legs, just a bit of a feeling that I could have done better tactically to actually get into that winning break - but that comes with practice I guess.
