This was me today, in sandals on me old trusty shopping cart mtb.
I do have very similar shoes (all black adidas something gtx) to Brtek as the mainstay and everyday use and light hiking which I don't do a whole lot lately.
Also very comfy Zamberlans for actual hiking where twisting and tweaking your ankles is possible.

 >>/15095/
I used them whenever I go to the Alps
Here I use them for winter hiking with crampons
Other than that I use them like once in spring to see if they have not fallen apart, otherwise there's no real need

> cloudflare challenge takes 2 minutes on endchin

what do they mean by this?

It's probably something with my Firefox settings, I have it set up in some paranoid mode, I don't remember exactly what I changed in about:config, I don't want to reset my entire profile so sometimes cloudflare just thinks I am a robot.

> Cipollini. "If I lost the Giro I would like to get on a tower and throw myself downstairs, other than partying", commented the former champion, who did not appreciate the embrace between Del Toro and Pellizzari

> "It was ridiculous, a fake fair play that bothers me a lot, it's done just to attract consensus... Where is the warrior's spirit of the cyclist? I’m happy to be part of a different cycling,” concluded Cipollini

winner of the 87 edition of the la vuelta HERRERA Luis Alberto has been brought before a court on suspicion of murdering farmers back in the day

> Del Toro Father:"People don't know that Isaac had osteoporosis for many years, that he had tumors or a gap in his jaw. All because he worked so hard. He needed medications, supplements, things that were very difficult to pay for, because the body of a super athlete doesn't just need beans; we spent a lot of money on consultations, medications, supplements, and tests.”

A big interview with the great Roman KREUZIGER Jr.

I only speak slovake but it's basically the same.
> I like Tadej's racing more, his unpredictable starts are attractive to fans. Visma does race effectively and with a drive to win, but they and Vingegaard are going through the season in the style of "I'm interested in the Tour, and that's the end of it for me". Tadej, on the other hand, tries to win from February to October. Which is more sympathetic to me.

Kek, absolutely everyone is a pogi boy, I don't think I've seen anyone but D*nes and jumbo shills in the other camp

molano and bauhaus so consistent at placing well in the most messy and retarded sprint stages. big curve in the final, small roads, multiple speedbumps? they will be there no matter what

fixed the crevaison on my triban shitter today. I had to change the tires anyways, unlike bertaczeks old looking contis, my vittorias had some white spots showing the cotton layer and telling me it definitively was time to change them.
I should have properly cleaned the rim and inside of the replacement tire, which would have spared me another crevaison on my test ride. I first thought it was just the tube losing pressure because the tire would need a bit of time to properly seat itself, but it was a proper hole.
you win this time tubeless sisters.

I'm a peaceful man with bad English, I meant hungry. Also, it's raining in the Cévennes tomorrow, so the bus to the mountain will have to wait a bit. Big ride nonetheless.

and in 2024 he didn't want to go because he didn't feel like a big guy like him could keep up in the mountains with feeding

 >>/15225/
I wanted to go for a late ride and run from the rain but it was no use, stayed home and that was a good idea as I would be sprayed before I started going the right direction back.

Yeah, that was the first true storm with a squall line this year. If I was going the right way on my TT straight I would be KOMing it.

honestly the worst part about rain is starting your ride in it or getting washed unexpectedly
if it isn't freezing and you're prepared you can get in a good zone and feel the inner strength

tbh I don't know about Czech cyclists but last year I rode a hill/mountain event with friends where it was raining like 80% of the time and there were still a ton of people on the start, many of which only did half the distance but still
what I'm getting at is that brtek may still face all the same opposition. What if they are stone cold hardmen who embrace the suck or even thrive on it

 >>/15270/
Last year I did an event with friends where it rained for 4 hours and we did like 15km of cobbled roads in it.
Probably the strongest riding I've ever done from a mental standpoint, 4 man train blasting by lone hardmen.

The washing up was hell though.

I lived 3 years in Norway and never once rode in the rain. When it was raining, which was most of the time, I was mostly r*ping, running or hiking. Fuck riding in the rain

 >>/15329/
last year it rained so much that I feel like anyone who went outside regularly got rain immunity
I see it when I look through my strava club feed where people do group rides in the cold and wet all winter or days like today, neither was a thing the year before but now nobody gives a fuck anymore

 >>/15330/
> cold rain
literally the worst thing ever
> hot rain
when it gets that catharsis hit just right it feels great. nothing like winding down after a good rain ride. im convinced you all just live in frigid hellscapes where you dont get high temperature rain ever

That being said, I love r*nning or hiking in rain (no thunderstorm on mountaintops though). But you come home, you put your shit into washing machine, you take a warm shower and that's it done.

something must be stuck in my rear wheel that keeps causing the inner tubes to getting punctured. good chance to properly align the tires with the valve and put the tires in the indicated direction to make it look more professional and not like bertaczek fixed it.

full sex tourism/warm countries with wide roads.

mallorca races, UAE Tour, Hainan, Guangxi, Langkawi etc.

Avoid all the countries with road furniture, good riders and cold crummy weather. The life of a Li Ning Star kermistomper is the comfiest in cycling.

MILTIADIS 2024 season seems quite comfy. perfect mix of competing in small races and jobbering it up at some bigger yet relatively comfy races. Show up to your NC's every year and clean up, get to race around the world and get paid for it. jealous

> Why is Pogacar only competing in the Dauphiné after his triumph in Liège? "I don't want to get bored by a fixed pattern. The only thing I have to do every year is the Tour," laughs the relaxed Slovenian.
> My training numbers have been good all year. We will soon see how much they are worth in the race."
How are we feeling remking brothers and fishman sisters?

He had a pretty busy spring classics season, took six weeks for recovery and altitude camp, and is now getting tuned up for Dauphine and Tour? What did they want him to do, the Giro, then Dauphine, then Tour?

I've been wondering how the jobber economy works. AI claims they earn 32-200k a year but I think that's PRT not CT level. Another source claims a continental team rider makes anywhere from nothing to a few thousand bucks, fuck knows how much they actually make. Teams like the Universe Cycling rapists with 16 riders and lots of staff (why do they have so many) probably still needs several hundred thousand €$ annually to pay the bills.
Curious that they find sponsors to front them cash when most of the races they do don't get televised and are in some African/Asian place where the locals probably don't watch live either

my take on the rat challenge 2025:
> I dislike eggplants, so I cut the cubes very thin, just to add some consistency
> cooking all veggies separately lead to me using too much oil
> fresh herb mix was a full success
> green house veggies simply don't cut it and adding sugar would be cheating
> veggie mix wasn't right, too much zucchinis and not enough pepperoni
I rate 6/10. this needs better quality and ripe vegetables from the fields and some good quality olive oil.
yeah and please don't tell me to clean the oven. I have a oven clean spray laying around somewhere.

Highest point is 170.86. This was on the road right next to it, which according to our mapping service is in fact 169 at one point. Top marks for Garmin here honestly, wasn't expecting it to be that accurate.

 >>/15497/
The benefits are very minor (weather data for past rides is one, I forget what else). I'd consider it a donation and payment towards trying to maintain independence active development. If you can spare the cash, it's probably one of the most deserving places on the internet to spend it.
 >>/15500/
That's 17086 cm! I do live pretty close to it actually, so at least it's somewhat hilly/rolling around here, not pure flat.

 >>/15508/
I don't even think this person exist and is just an AI pulling from news articles

> Actually, Arnaud De Lie should be the favorite. It doesn't increase so much that it is unambiguous, but we learned on stage 8 of the Tour, where De Lie was locked in, and in Quebec in 2023, that the Belgian is better in ascending sprints than Girmay. He will also love this simple race, where he doesn't have to struggle so much with his positioning, and he is made to be the strongest in a tough race. The uncertainty about his form is just great. After his spring crisis, he retired in Cologne with breathing problems, and now he missed Mayenne with illness. It creates a little too much uncertainty for me to have him as the favorite, but when the race is not a mountain stage after all, it must be bad if he doesn't sprint for the win

this guy is insane, de lie will get dropped on the first passage over the muur

Eggs is the primary currency here but you can do pancakes, beer, burger
