Construction is just better paid while still being paid ok in Poland, the seasonal farming I guess is just what these people or "people" did when wages were horrible and they simply continue on out of habit with what used to work for them, and out of inability to come up with anything else because they are low-skilled low-iq literal workforce, nothing else.

Interdasting.

Difference between Slovak Sauerkraut Soup and Polish Kapuśniak

While both soups celebrate the tangy goodness of sauerkraut, there are distinct differences:

Occasion: Kapustnica often stars in the Slovak Christmas Eve feast, especially in its meatless form. Kapusniak in Poland doesn’t have as strong a connection to Christmas Eve.
Ingredients: Slovak Kapustnica can include dried mushrooms, dried plums, and sometimes even wine, while the Polish Kapusniak is more focused on meats and sauerkraut, often with a tomato base.
Meat Varieties: The Slovak version frequently features smoked sausage, while the Polish one might include pork or even ribs.
Texture: Kapustnica tends to be a bit thicker and heartier, with a complex layering of flavors, while Kapusniak is often lighter, leaning on the simplicity of its ingredients.

Sounds like Kapustnica is more of a runny bigos than what I know as kapuśniak, the saurekraut soup. And we don't use tomato base, some regional recipes may but not the "general" one.

alright I get it now. Kasia is flying because she's on a CANYON and Marlen sucks because while she's on a CANYON she's on Movistar (complete trash team, massive malus) which outweighs the CANYON buff

had a chute today going 44kph and some polish (kurwa) ebiker coming the other way thought exactly as I pass her that it is time to pull left and turn around with complete disregard of me flying right at her. thank god for me fresh tires and disc brakes I did not fall on asphalt, just some circus move over the handlebars into the grass. the boomer crashed pretty heavy on the road tho. only damage on me side is medium sized bulge on me arm where I hit her handlebar

Pretty normal for this time of the year.

The Algarve has some troubles from time to time on their mountains, but this kind of vegetation is actually appropriate for the climate, meaning wildfires are kinda rare around here.

genuine question: how do you berts do intervals on the road? it feels like my legs are too "dumb" to actually stick to the prescribed watts, either overshooting it hard or being far under it but never being precisely in the range

on the trainer it's a no-brain activity and there's no issue, I understand this may seem like a dumb question

 >>/111872/
its normal that the watts are a constant up and down and you're on/off the gas to compensate. It gets better the more you do it and you also have to look at the computer less and less because your feel for the effort gets better

 >>/111872/
Honestly not much to it except practice. I think it might be easier to get used to at a power where you're fully comfortable. So practice with tempo or lower, and hopefully the experience transfers to doing harder efforts also. Personally I don't really like doing hard intervals on the road, to much shit to be keeping track of while you're blowing up.

Heh, walking between these drivers today I felt like in that meme where there's a party and this dude is alone in the corner like "they don't know I.."

They don't know I am not just a big ogre who makes photos of everything because this is a passtime for a retard grug, I can recognize half of them, can tell some of them just by how they look on the bike, know their race history better than them, cursed their names out more than their mothers and even had a hand in willing some of them into existence.

Heh..

So Kasia's performance today was apparently the greatest femmes climbing performance ever and Demi's the 2nd best. Yes, both better than PFP's sulphurous performance last year.

Great to see that wheels keep getting rounder all across the board. True equality.

 >>/111883/
others have 5.34 w/kg for the entire climb (55'22'') and vollering at 5.17 w/kg for the entire thing idk how much they consider the constantly changing wind and drafting and shit
previously was pfp at 5.04 w/kg for 64:50. Male cycling doesn't even have climbs that long anymore kek

I'm mostly impressed by the YoY improvements of an almost 32 yo woman. She did like 4.75 w/kg for 67 min last year (which was her best performance ever at the time according to estimators).

 >>/111888/
I went looking for WT climbs, the longest Tour climbs they do these days are Mont Ventoux (~55 min) and Col de La Loze (~60-70 min depending on the version). Though one could maybe consider Télégraphe + Galibier (~85 min) as one climb.

Outside the Tour there's Finestre (~60 min) and Thyon 2000 (~58 min).

A few years back, Val Thorens (~77 min) was a massive one.

multiple bad incidents with motorcycle swine today, one while descending at around 90 ks an hour. Two swines cut me real close while I was cornering (nearly gave me a heart attack), went into oncoming traffic while they were at it causing cars there to evade and brake hard. The other was a biker gang overtaking as close as possible and some of them shouting stuff at me. That kind of thing happens often, if I have 10 bad experiences with motorists in a year 9 of those are with motorcycles and most of them the biker gang type

Very interesting race down in Guadeloupe
STÜSSI is RAIDING but is almost 5 minutes down in the GC
Maillot Jaune has been dropped but not completely
Volarberg also has two leftenants at the tete

> tfw you will never live in the parallel world where superdomestique and road captain squillaume martin orders cavagna and madouas on kamikaze attacks against pogi, fish et al. to deliver the fourth consecutive tour to leader gaudu
thank goodness

will watch women that compete at a high level human-speaking. I will watch any Michèle Mouton. I will watch a woman competing against men in any sport at the top level and I will even watch sports where women excel at over men. Because that is what top sports is about, being amazed of what humans are capable of, seeing humans at their limits.

BUT

I will not watch the femmes avec swift. I will not watch wnba. I will not watch women football. I will not watch women tennis. I will not watch inferior performances just because they're women.

And it disgusts me to see that more and more of this very office are falling for the marketing of the people making money of this.
Do not come with excuses about a femmes race being more interesting because in that case, we should start professionalizing juniors, those are even more interesting races.
But no, they wont do that because then people would watch the juniors (with at least the same performance as woman) and not the femmes anymore.

You can push me all you want. You can shove it down my throat, you can try to guilt me, you can cancel me.
I do not fucking care. I am not a cuck.I do not fall for the marketing hooknose.

Respectfully, fuck you.

Watching the end of TdFHsZ again.

What a finish. Pogi and MVDP trading pulls against all odds and then that ridiculous, delirious sprint for the win. Kino of a magnitude we have rarely seen.

Love Pogi. Love MVDP. Long live cyclisme.

I have clik valves laying around, haven't installed them yet. the idea is that they don't lose air compared to Presta valves when trying to pump it with a small pump.
but yeah, riding back home was what I did when I did get a crevaison.

I'm going to Solden this september (weather permitting) to do a 3500 and the thing I dread is the descent (and the traffic near Munchen but that's different story)

But I have been to Kalkalpen park, to Hoschwab (slept at the Schnitzelhaus), want to go to Hochtor (the spitze), those are all around 2k but you can easily do 1500 elevation a day.

Are you people climbing with rope and harness or is this like a via ferrata or is this just some cables to guide you on steep part of hike?

We don't have much stuff like this in our US parks. Stuff like the cable route on Half Dome in Yosemite is the exception rather than the rule

Allegedly before in an interview before the start Demi said she respeks Kasia and all but she is talking about fair play she should remember how she rode off 2 years ago while I [Demi] was on the ground.
Very nice!

the HEAT gains goblin is wrecking cycling communities like crack raped ghettos in the 80s
looking at my cycling club everyone is way down in mileage and even more down in intensity. Only a few keep mileage up one of them being me mostly because of 80 km/day commuting which lets be honest I only do to show how much more hardcore I am compared to everyone else. No way I would be doing this if not for clout
