commuted by bike today for the first time since I moved, also the first time I ever rode in that direction from my apartment. It's surprisingly flat after the first 10-15k and also way longer than driving in the cuckcage, like 5-8 km more one way. 10°C at 5:00 in the morning and over 30°C at around 15:00 what a difference

not long ago a mate double flatted and I fixed one of the tubes and getting the gp5000 on and off an old 17mm internal non tlr rim was so much easier than mounting my own tires. That's gotta be it

I had a chute banale yesterday. First time ever on the road on my tt bike, there was some loose sand on the road, and my bike slid in a corner. Huge road rash in hands/forearms and I think one rib is broken, but nothing too major and I could complete the ride as intended. Aside from that, man is it fun to ride the tt bike. I did lt1 endurance at around 270W and I was going north of 45km/h at parts, with long segments averaging over 43km/h. Can't wait to race this discipline more in the future.
