However I do think we should be able to talk about the same topics here anonymously, especially when our governments are starting wars, destroying the purchasing power of our currencies and ruining our countries. Or is /b/ not supposed to be political at all and anonymous dissent is now banned here too? This is called gatekeeping and it glows.

What is the point of bothering wasting your time moderating boards where you want anons to walk away and not bother posting anymore? The only rational excuse anyone like that could give is that they want the board dead because they are gatekeeping information as a form of censorship, to keep anons from questioning the status quo. In that case yes it would make perfect fucking sense to me. You are right about one thing, I should consider starting my own board, maybe I will someday. I'll probably have a very hard time promoting it anywhere though, for reasons so obvious.
