This interview gives us the answer. When all leaders do is try to stir wars and come up with boogeymen the only focus they have is war. They neglect the problems of the general public, of the well being of people in their own countries, they become irrational, bogged down in endless escalations that could easily be avoided and all at the expense of citizens sadly. You cannot have productive economic capitalism bogged down in endless wars. Capital wealth will always flee to greener pastures and that is exactly what has happened.
