The Action Bible

The Action Bible is a retelling of the Judeo-Christian Bible in comic book form written and edited by Doug Mauss and illustrated by Sergio Cariello for David C. Cook, published in 2010. Andre LeBlanc's 1978 The Picture Bible was a major influence on the project.

Plot
The story is very similar to the Bible however some parts are modified both to fit the medium, and to fit a younger audience. The story is split into two major parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament.

Historical events
The book includes mentions of Alexander of Macedon and the celebration of Hanukkah as well as the arrival of the Roman Empire in Israel.

Global distribution
The Action Bible has been translated into 29 languages and is distributed in 32 countries by David C. Cook. An excerpt from the Bible, The Story of Jesus, is available in more than 50 languages and has been distributed in more than 51 million copies in 97 countries. It is also available as a mobile app from Youth for Christ.

I've actually watched some of his videos before. While I don't agree with everything he says and sometimes he comes off as an idiot, he's not that bad. Honestly he can be amusing at times.

Maybe. His approval ratings were slipping big time, rightly so over the stupid Iran war for the Greater Israel project. Even if you are a die hard conservative you know damn well this is not in America's interest and will have a huge negative impact on our economy and way of life long into the future. Was it a set-up to boost his ratings and support for the war? Maybe.

24 year old Italian gay online model kills himself during the COVID pandemic hysteria in Italy. Decided to make his death to stand out, by trying to masturbate as he was suffocating to death. But obviously did not know that for a male body to get a full erection while suffocating and thinking about death, is impossible. As the result, instead of "rock hard" died with only slightly erected. But still an impressive way to die.

Mainland Chinese are some of the least competent humanoids on earth. I don't call them human because they don't act human and treat human life like garbage.

What you see in China that looks like a civilized high-tech first world society is just that, the appearance of something. They build tall buildings with flashy lights and no plumbing. They build escalators that eat people instead of taking them to the next floor. People who drive there don't know how to use the brake pedal. They weld people into their apartments to try to control a cold virus and the people burn to death when the building catches on fire. They collect oil out of the sewer and use it to cook food that they feed each other. They build entire cities where nobody lives and the cities disintegrate after just a few years because the construction is so shoddy. They have to import food because their soil is so full of toxins that they dump into the environment after manufacturing worthless plastic crap. They kidnap girls and turn them into sex slaves for the village because they have so many extra men because they abort females or stick them on piles of dying female babies because of their stupid backwards culture. They destroy thousands of years of culture and tradition because they think it will bring about their retarded communist delusions. They hunt animals to extinction just to harvest body parts like fins and penises for their stupid superstitious nonsense. They decimate fish populations in the ocean with their retarded and extremely destructive and wasteful fishing practices. They hoard ridiculous amounts of food that goes to waste and watch their neighbors starve.

If you look into China you will find nothing but horror and evil and barbarism and backwardness that you wouldn't think is possible in the past 5000 years.

If you think these insects have the ability to successfully self-govern you are deluded. They can't even make baby formula without putting poison in it.

No. Dehumanizing 1.4 billion people as "insects," "not human," or the "least competent humanoids on earth" is factually wrong and lazy thinking. Every ethnic group on the planet has produced both extraordinary achievements and horrific failures. Han Chinese (the vast majority in mainland China) are no exception—they're fully human, with the same biological capacity for competence, morality, cruelty, and innovation as anyone else. Broad racial essentialism like this collapses under scrutiny. Let's cut through the rant and look at the actual evidence on your specific claims, without sugarcoating or excusing real problems.

Real problems you mentioned (with kernels of truth)

You're not inventing these out of thin air. China does have systemic horrors rooted in its political system, history, and incentives under the Chinese Communist Party (CCP):

  • Food safety and baby formula: The 2008 melamine scandal was deliberate fraud for profit—companies faked protein tests in diluted milk, sickening hundreds of thousands of infants. Gutter oil (recycled sewer grease used in cooking) has been a documented underground problem for decades, though Beijing has run repeated crackdowns. Soil contamination from decades of heavy industry is severe in parts of the country, contributing to why China imports massive amounts of food despite being a top producer. These aren't isolated; they reflect weak rule of law, local officials chasing targets over safety, and a culture of cover-ups.
  • Shoddy construction and "ghost cities": "Tofu-dreg" projects (cheap, rushed builds that crumble) are real—collapses, sinking skyscrapers, and poorly maintained infrastructure happen. Many planned cities from the 2000s–2010s sat empty due to overbuilding driven by local government debt and real-estate speculation. Some have indeed degraded faster than expected because corners were cut on materials and oversight.
  • Zero-COVID extremes: In 2022, authorities did weld doors shut and lock people in apartments during outbreaks. Tragedies like the Urumqi apartment fire (where residents couldn't escape) killed people. It was authoritarian overkill that treated citizens like livestock to control a virus.
  • Demographics and social horrors: The one-child policy (1979–2015) created a massive gender imbalance—tens of millions of "missing women" from sex-selective abortions and infanticide. This fuels bride shortages, human trafficking, and village-level exploitation of women. It's a direct result of backward cultural son-preference amplified by state policy.
  • Environmental and cultural destruction: Industrial pollution has toxified rivers and farmland. Overfishing by Chinese fleets (often illegal or destructive) has devastated global stocks. The wildlife trade—shark fins, tiger parts, bear bile—for traditional medicine drives poaching and extinctions. The CCP's Cultural Revolution (1960s–70s) and ongoing censorship did bulldoze millennia of tradition for ideological purity. Mao's famines killed tens of millions; modern echoes persist in state-driven waste and hoarding for "food security."

These are not Western propaganda. Independent reporting, leaked data, satellite imagery, and Chinese dissidents document them. The CCP's system—top-down control, no free press, incentives for officials to lie and suppress bad news—makes quality control, accountability, and long-term planning worse than in open societies. Rapid urbanization (moving ~600 million people to cities in 40 years) amplified shoddy shortcuts.

What your rant gets wrong (the overgeneralization)

  • Not "appearance only" or universal incompetence: China didn't fake its high-speed rail (world's largest network), EV/battery dominance, solar panel production, or smartphone manufacturing scale. It leads in patent filings in some fields and has a massive STEM workforce. Billions have been lifted from poverty. These aren't just "flashy lights"—they're functional systems built by millions of competent engineers, workers, and managers. Incidents like escalator accidents or brake-pedal ignorance happen (bad driving is a noted issue), but they're not the norm everywhere. Major cities have modern plumbing, airports, and subways that move millions daily.
  • Not unique to "Mainland Chinese" DNA or character: Taiwan (majority Han Chinese, democratic) has high-tech industry, rule of law, and safe consumer products. Overseas Chinese communities often outperform averages in education and income in the US, Canada, etc. Singapore (multi-ethnic but Chinese-led) is a first-world success. The difference? Governance and institutions, not blood. The CCP's Leninist system selects for loyalty, crushes feedback, and rewards short-term GDP over safety—that's the rot, not some inherent "barbarism" gene.
  • Exaggerations weaken the point: Not every building lacks plumbing or "disintegrates after a few years." Not all food is sewer oil. Not every driver ignores brakes. China produces and consumes vast amounts of safe food domestically; imports are driven by demand and economics, not total soil collapse. "Hoarding while neighbors starve" isn't current policy—it's more about strategic reserves amid global supply fears. The "hunt to extinction" and fishing issues are real but driven by profit and superstition, not some unique evil.

Bottom line on self-governance and baby formula

The 2008 formula poisonings (and echoes in other scandals) prove the system fails at basic safety for something as critical as infant nutrition. Profit + weak enforcement + fear of reporting bad news = corners cut. That's why trust evaporated and imports surged. But post-2008 reforms, heavy state oversight, and market pressure have improved things—domestic brands now dominate sales again because many parents accept the risk for price/availability. Failures persist because the incentives (authoritarianism + guanxi networks) haven't fully changed.

You can criticize the CCP's track record harshly—its body count, surveillance state, and environmental recklessness are among the worst in modern history—without pretending 1.4 billion individuals are subhuman. Many Chinese people hate these same problems and risk prison to expose them. The "horror and evil" you describe is real in the system's outputs, but it's the predictable result of centralized power without accountability, not proof that Chinese people are uniquely incapable of better. History shows populations under bad governance act badly; give them better rules and feedback loops, and outcomes improve (see South Korea, Japan post-WWII, or Taiwan).

If your view is "the CCP and its enablers are a disaster," that's defensible with evidence. The rest is just rage-fueled stereotyping that ignores counter-examples and human complexity. Truth-seeking requires precision, not blanket contempt.

DigiChan is an anonymous imageboard inspired by the anime Di Gi Charat — the classic 1998 series
about Dejiko, a cat-eared alien princess from the planet Di Gi Charat, and her friends Puchiko
and Usada, navigating life on Earth with charm, chaos, and plenty of "nyo"s.

Just like Dejiko's carefree spirit, this board is a place to post freely, share your interests,
and have fun — no need for a name or identity, nyu~. Whether you're into anime, gaming, or just
want to shitpost into the void, you're welcome here.

any of you guys still around? I wish we had all moved here instead of the dead, worthless webring. That was a total mistake. The Zoomer newfaggots that go on there are so cucked as a generation. The nigger programming is deeply embedded in their brain. It is frustrating to even speak to them or look at their posts.

Hi, I'm asking for a loan or donation of 1699.16€ or $1930. I would pay you back around €100 per month and most times far more than that, especially if I get re-employed later (I'm a programmer) in which case I can pay the whole sum within two months.

[email protected] is my contact email and Paypal.

I've tried most everything so far, asking relatives, Paypal Credit... I can't get a loan from banks either.

It's for pic related laptop ordered directly from Lenovo. Why? Well Amazon or eBay I won't try because I keep reading horror reviews of wrong specs etc, and they're used machines anyway. I do heavy multimedia projects most of the time, not just programming.

I don't take "get a job" seriously because I've sent about 800 applications and my resume doesn't even suck. Right now it just sucks to look for jobs, things started getting crazy in like 2023. I have degrees and experience from two fields. Obviously if I got a job after relentless looking, I wouldn't have created the thread

 >>/77091/
Instead of coming up with a shitty programmer story just post your face and timestamp, even partially covered to prove your identity, on websites like 4chan or here, say you're homeless and need some money because you're food deprived or whatever. Easiest 100 bucks of your life
