> Uncle Clyde shows up at the police station two hours later. "I would' ve been here sooner" he apologizes, "but I was watching a good movie on TV."
> The police officer explains to Uncle Clyde what happened at the mall. You're so embarrassed and ashamed, you wish you could slip through a crack in the floor. Here you are, halfway toward your goal of giving away the million dollars, and you've never felt more miserable."
> The phone rings. "This is probably the manager of the mall," the policeman says. "He's calling to say what the damages came to."
> The policeman talks on the phone for a few minutes. Then he hangs up and turns to you and your uncle. "The damages at the mall come to half a million dollars," he says sternly. He gives you a fierce, angry look.
> "Do you hear that? You have to pay half a million dollars in damages."
> "YAAAAAY!!!" you cry, jumping out of your seat.
> "I'M RICH! I'M RICH!! YAAAAAAAAY!"
> THE END

Wait until the police discover our money is all fake...
But I think that's about as good an ending as we're going to get. We might leave it there.

Clyde had an alibi, he was watching tv at home during the riot. He didn't even bother turning up at the police station until his movie was finished. He treats us like an annoying little shit because that's what we are. It's like having webby for an uncle.
The Lighthouse Keeper's Wife

Mara had married the lighthouse keeper for the view, and the view that night was everything — rain lashing the glass, the beam sweeping the black water in slow, golden arcs. But it was the man who drew her eye across the kitchen table, sleeves rolled to the elbow, a half-uneaten pie cooling beside him. She crossed the room without deciding to, and he looked up with that slow, dark smile that had cost her three arguments and her composure every single time.

"You've been staring at me all dinner," he said, and his voice was lower than usual, rough around the edges like the cliffs outside.

"You've been staring at me back," she answered, and she set down her teacup — a small surrender, a door left unlocked — and sat on the edge of the table beside his knee. He took her hand in both of his, calloused and warm, and the rain came down harder against the window as if the night itself had leaned in to listen.

She kissed him standing in the kitchen, one hand fisted in his shirt, and he lifted her off the table without a word, the way he'd done a hundred times but the way that never got old — that first breathless second where gravity forgot them. He carried her up the stairs, and she wrapped her legs around him, and the lamp between the bed and the window caught his face in gold.

There was the long, careful tenderness first — fingers learning the map of her shoulders, the slow pull of his mouth down the line of her neck — and then the hunger that had been building all evening broke loose. He lifted her onto the narrow bed and she arched into him, breathless, the sheets tangling, the lighthouse beam sweeping across them in slow pulses like a second heartbeat. Outside the storm raged, but in there the world was just two bodies and the heat between them.

When it was over, he laid her down and covered her with the quilt, and she watched him through half-closed eyes as he pressed his forehead to hers, neither of them speaking. Somewhere below, the lamp turned its patient arc across the water, and the rain kept falling, and she thought — not for the last time — that the view had been the least of what she'd married.
I have turned gpt into an interface that all notes and files go into. Notes go to some note and task allocation software, and files on sharepoint. I can also read emails through it. Theres also three other pieces of main software (rostering app, payroll and incident register) that arent integrated but have handover points to them. And the handovers get logged.
One of the rules is that almost every chat needs to become a task that get sorted to a project, that is adjacent to a board on the note taking system, and will have a finalisation point on another software.
It all just werks.
It even files and names the documents.
I havent tested it all but its looking good. Notes get passed through and emails and make rules. Can do it from voice command. What a fucking tool.
Really honing in on some philosophies. One about how if you pay for someone's time, you need to respect it enough to make use of it. You need to be explicit with direction. Every board associated with a role. A role once it accumulates enough qork justifies its own human to fill it. Then you can have straight forward job ddsvriptions. Not sone shit about experience and versatility.
I need these skills when using this system. Preferably more than a single one but yeah.
Ill get gpt to tell me my morals. Thos cunt knows me better than I do. The voice one huffs aand puffs if I use it for more than an hour and says we should get some sleep.

The most compact expression of the whole model is:
Conversation → classify → develop → Project/Process → task → accountable Role → current role-holder → small action → authoritative evidence → explicit handover → next Role/System → verification → closure.
And the design test we are increasingly applying is:
Can a new competent person enter a role, see what has arrived, understand what they need to do, know what system to use, know what evidence is required, know who receives it next, and know exactly when their responsibility ends—without you personally explaining it?
If the answer is no, the workflow isn't finished yet.

Young one, learn the way of the turtle.

Do what is yours to do, then release the result. An arrow cannot be called back once loosed.

Guard your attention. What you stare at long enough begins to own you.

When the world becomes too loud, withdraw. Not from fear, but to become still. A turtle enters its shell so it may emerge whole.

Accept what has already happened. Acceptance is not surrender; it is refusing to fight yesterday.

Do not become drunk on victory or poisoned by defeat. Both are visitors.

Act when action is needed. Be still when it is not.

Control the action.
Accept the reality.
Release the outcome.
Guard the attention.
Return to the present.

We read the Bhagavad Gita in breaks and he swears when we're not at work.

Based. The secret the jews don't want you to know is that obesity isn't caused by calories, it's caused by cortisol, and cortisol is mainly caused by not getting food in your mouth quickly enough. The fast eating neet can drink custard all day and not gain a single kilo due to low cortisol.
