Interesting. We can't put food into the garden waste, not even fruits and vegetables.
EU has the most retarded color coding and countries all has their differences, but even within countries the various waste management companies has their own systems. Never seen green being the green (garden) waste anywhere.

My neighbour may or may not be addicted to the Ritalin I'm selling her. She takes 2 tabs at a time now which is 2x10mg. I tried telling her it's highly addictive but she is already set on wanting more. I'm afraid she'll become a speed freak and try to break down my door and steal my stash later.

 >>/1009392/
i've always thought that just putting a body in the wheelie bin and covering it with some empty tinnies or maccas wrappers would be the easiest way of disposing of a body. Don't understand why people go to such measures burying them or chucking them in the woods. makes no sense. people watched too much CSI in the 00s

Put 1650 in and put power cable in. Plugged all satas into board and trying to find a place to put my last 2 hdd’s. I can’t fit another in the old disc bay. I think they need to go under the gpu but there’s cables in the way and i need a spacer thing that wont catch fire. Maybe i can just put some metal shit and tape them together? Ideas for hdd’s placement?

Booted into ZimaOS with webui and setup account. It says you need ZimaOS+ to use more than 4 drives, I have 6 and it looks like it wants to format my drives if I enable them :(

 >>/1009556/
Others in the gym are self conscious too. They aren't focussed on judging you. If they notice you they might just think he's just starting to exercise again, good for him.

 >>/1009560/
It's a NAS / Server OS. I was going to go with truenas until I found out it requires ZFS which would wipe all my drives and I thought zimaos wouldn't need to.
 >>/1009561/
aborting zimaos. gonna put debian xcfe on it for now and see if i can find a webui service seperately and run the ntfs drives with a driver thingo.

 >>/1009566/
Did you do some warmup squats first? The final mass isn't as important as progressively warming up.
eg for 200lbs (90kg) working sets, the progression would be sometthing like:
2x5 45 lbs (Bar)
1x5 80 lbs (10 5 2.5)
1x3 120 lbs (35 2.5)
1x2 160 lbs (45 10 2.5)
5x5 200 lbs (45 25 5 2.5)

From living in the bad home area I have learned that a car with adult men in the backseats is almost always up to no good.
They were all wearing baseball caps too. Big red flags. They loitered and looked but then drove off.
The crime will be committed elsewhere.
Stay vigilant NEETs.

I feel like I am due for a new computer - I especially need new speakers since even at maximum volume I can barely hear things now when the heater is on - but I just can't bring myself to spend the money.
It is all too expensive. I have the money, but I can't bring myself to let it go.

I spend some amount of time thinking about how to preserve all my data. I have 4 8TB hard drives full.
Movies, TV Shows, games and countless other stuff.
It is precious to me and I want to keep it but the more I think about how, the more difficult the whole thing seems.
I will need to buy 4 new 8TB hard drives to do a RAID setup, but that will cost $2000. Plus whatever other stuff I would have to buy to build a NAS or DAS.
And my 4 HDDs are almost full so really I need to buy 2 more than that. And my original 4 HDDs are several years old already and really should be replaced before they fail.
It all makes me feel a bit overwhelmed. So much money.

 >>/1009612/
I feel like I do.
I feel like we live under a regime of censorship and retrospective changes to things and it is important to have a repository that can't be touched.
I don't download random things, just things I like or am interested in.

 >>/1009616/
If you have the bandwidth you could send it the to a froxen/archival storage plan with the major cloud providers. It costs cents per gigabyte per month but can take hours for the recovery image to be ready but for backups that's fine.

 >>/1009507/
The problem is my own political views are left wing on economic/welfare issues and right on social isssues, but there aren't any political parties like that in english speaking countries for some reason, so I can never find any I approve of.

got proxmox running. the fans are hella loud. it wouldn't display anything after boot menu for awhile until i used the nomodeset option and now it all works well. no idea how to setup or install anything yet.

 >>/1009636/
For Proxmox you create the containers from the images you upload or import images as disks to use. Pretty easy when you get your head around it. Just make sure you are using the right storage spaces or move them after creation.

Are you going to create a cluster?

Completed the van's wiring upgrade this arvo (home battery wiring 10G > 6G). The Anytone Ham radio can TX at 50 watts without undervolting now, however the accessory power extension to the cab seems to have broke during the operation, and I'll get a new one.

 >>/1009648/
Thanks.
The Anytone can send APRS position packets while I'm driving as much as it wants now. (Although I'll likely have it set to mid-power 20W rather than 50W). If the van ever gets stolen, it'll be easy to track too, hopefully.

How is it that flies know only to dive-bomb your face when you're holding tools in both hands.

 >>/1009686/
I'm not sure what kind of court ruling you mention. Any citation?
The EU Commission (it's the EU cabinet consists of all the member states head of governments.) decided a while back that certain Russian websites, news outlets, such as RT has to be blocked by member states' ISPs (it's a DNS block I think). To this decision even Orbán govt. adhered. You can't access RT from the Hungary bareback.
There are private person, some EU citizens, some Swiss, who are sanctioned by the EU Commissions, because they are "pro-Russian". So I can imagine moving into the direction to ban sharing information from certain sources.

Fun thing. The Orbán govt. not just blocked those Russian sites, but Ukraine ones too. Considering most people don't use English in any level close to communication, and even those who do only a fraction of them checks these sites in any frequency, it doesn't have a huge effect.
It's just a slippery slope to block more of the internet.

 >>/1009708/
> He could get a pidge for free.
My brother and I did that when we were teenagers. Built a pigeon coop for about 8 birds... without telling mummy first. We hard them for about 3 years before a virus (Newcastle Disease) killed them. :(

Would we be better off mounting our phones on our left forearm?
People stare at them so often it is kind of pointless to keep putting them in our pocket and getting them out again.
A horizontal screen is better for looking at than a vertical one also.

We need to admit that what we want is not a phone but a screen.

The forearm mounted screen could have a camera next to it that detaches and can be held in the fingers to aim and shoot, and then placed back on the forearm mount. It would be quite small. You don't need to hold up the whole screen.

 >>/1009715/
That's what SmartWatches are trying to promise..

Taking it back further, a smartphone really could just be a display for a network computer -- the 'phone' being a minimal, light, low-powered Interaction device, which wirelessly associates with a 'powerbank'-sized device nearby that's got all the grunt inside.

 >>/1009718/
'grunt' being the amperes of the device degrade significantly over distance
I'm not sure what you imagine but the interaction device would never be able to handle reasonable processing load without some new safe wireless bandwidth transmission standard
but maybe that will be the thing

 >>/1009721/
We're all streaming video over wifi right now w/o hassle.
Even the cheapest smartphones now have GPUs for offloading the video decoding (for major power savings from not having the CPU do it).
A ~$40 thin-phone-client.. A ~$500 'powerbank' in your backpack being comfy.. Break the thin-client, just get a new one.

 >>/1009722/
Wifi isn't the grunt and requires very little processing power to maintain a network stack
and smaller GPUs in smaller devices still require a physically close proximity to deliver the processing power hence being an integration as in integrated circuit
but I like the idea and probably will be reality in the future
You can separate power for charging easily enough but anything requiring reasonable processing power will be embedded in the device per physics laws
that's my understanding at least and if I am wrong then that is that
disregard my opinion

midnight NEET radio with AfterCast
tonight's topic might be a little too turbulent but I think it does need a maiden sortie
Do you urinate in a jug next to your bed or desk ?
I myself will admit to having done this before, while living in a de facto share flat
grim times
ok NEET what do you think ?
Later we will discuss ancient egyptian pyramids as well as taking talk back requests from NEET
you're on the air

 >>/1009724/
I used to urinate in a 3L water bottle when I lived in a shared bathroom situation and didn't like leaving my room.

There was a brand of bottled water that had a wide mouth on the bottle so you could insert your member completely. That was many years ago.

To do it when you have your own bathroom is just dirty and mentally unwell.

I have finished watching Never Say Never Again (1983).
This is the dodgy non-canon Bond film. The worst Bond film so far. Awful.
Sean Connery was back. He looked old and tired, wasted away like a cancer patient.
The new M was awful. A caricature, a fool. Not right for M at all.
Felix Leiter was raceswapped into a negro.
The whole vibe of the film was off.
Kim Basinger looked mannish and unsexy.
A real chore to get through. It took me ages. Octopussy next.

I understand and I know exactly what you meant about the opening of the bottle being a deciding factor
And I agree, if you live alone there is no reason to inhibit yourself
I'm sure a lot of NEETs over the years have done such things
Let's quickly go on to our next topic of ancient egyptian pyramids but I know this subject can cause some listeners anxiety so I will put on a pyramids tracking while we wait to see if NEET has any talk back requests
  >>/1009726/ and it looks like we might be discussing Albert E. Broccoli's James Bond
Jimmy was almost always good when played by connery but I suppose in this case he was really showing his age
tell us about octopussy when you get through it
My personal favourite is between diamonds are forever and from Russian with love
Although I don't mind the new Craig renditions
alright time for a quick brake and enjoy this ancient egyptian pyramids tracking

 >>/1009729/
that's an interesting take NEET
and logically one could imagine the undertakings much easier
removing material in the direction of gravity travelling logistically makes sense and would save a lot of time
but I am limited in my knowledge I will be honest but the mysteries do astound me
I imagine the pyramids to be some type of beacon paired with a specific time in earths history when the magnetic poles were at a consistently different orientation
but I'm a bit of a spook
anyway NEET thanks for your contribution
Let's take a moment to thank one of our benefactors IGA

 >>/1009731/
great question NEET
I don't personally know so we will defer to the resident ai [(/aJ/)]
Well it looks like aJ reckons smoked paprika is the main ingredient and I can also imagine a caremalised maple and certain smoked woods, which can apparently be made into a liquid concentrate which aJ and this >>/1009732/ reckon, the smoke essence likely being hickory and apple
I'm sure a lot goes into smokey bacon flavour, or maybe it's as simple as that
ok NYET thanks for tuning in
Stand by now for some sponsorship messages

Can you guess the gif? Guess what the gif is and you can be in the running for a free 24-replying bonanza
surely our NEETS deserve a hint.. so what do you know about the specific chan where the gif originated and what sort of posting would one expect if given a very short description
Result will be posted during the next break

I hope you're all excited for the bonaza give away
I'd enter myself but of course I already know the answer
moving on
We're now at the interpretive and improvised segment of the show
NEET has to post anything, could be a Pepe or a comment about taxes, and my ai assistant aJ has to turn that post into a humourous sketch comedy
We will head into a short break while we wait for NEET to call back
Ok NEET let's see what you've got

Supposedly it will exist above the user's privilege as an administrative tool to protect individuals or groups by a what I imagine is an active filter modal
but if we take the ai power tokens as an example of why this is a bad idea is where a post will have hundreds or maybe thousands of comments in a shadowed tabled unable to be viewed by anyone except the administrator and all of those comments have utilised power and some may have ai content
the magic needed for entropy certainly won't be happy and the commissioner is one who thinks about this in terms of something like a social war
our position is pretty clear according to this recent piece of research

that was years ago now, you don't really get a good impression of what's going on over there anymore. my boomer dad told me ukraine was due to take over crimea again but he is a fucking retard in the most respectable way. the information war is very real, i odn't like it

 >>/1009920/
They can't I'm on mong poverty rental or whatever. The rental contract said it has to be 25% or 30% of my income but they just send me a letter every two weeks saying your rent has gone up :^)

My contract is lifetime now unless I violate something badly but my other neighbors were absolute bad home for so long and smashed their own windows and broke shit and they didn't get kicked out for like 9 months.

Did 90kmh to get to dans. got there 3 mins before closing. the guy said better run buddy as i went in. got my drinks and an old boomer woman pulled up with her kids. as i walked out he said sorry! we're closed! she yelled you just! and then got back in her car defeated. I kek'd and announced unlucky! and laughed half the way home

Enlightenment in Europe turned Christendom into a science of the natural world and apparently that sort of triggered Maimonedes (Spanish Mussies also went through an enlightenment stage.. as well as expulsions) to do a esoteric mong thing and sort of started kabbalah. Then they used each other as the blueprint but also thought that they could find secrets in each others texts.
Kabbalah and masonry is just Abrahamic secret clubs with funny handshakes.

in the future i don't think there will be such a divide between the young and the old. it will be normal for a 23 year old to be friends with a 50 year old, and they will share a life in common. it is just the advent of the internet tat divides todays zoomers from the boomers. when us yoomers are in our 60s i don't think we will be as cringe and unrelatable as a current 60 year old boomer who doesn't have a clue and can't process media correctly. Anyway, just sharing a positive thought that came to me today.

got inspired by Monk's build to put together a PC myself. only problem is, i don't really game or mine crypto so i have no use for one. as a matter of fact, my 15 year old thinkpad seems to handle my shitposting and youtube watching just fine

the pretty girl at the cobbee shop smiled at me again and i did my usual sperg grimace
got an assortment of bottle brushes
having a cherry coke and some apricot crowns
also got some of those allens mountain jew lollies a neet asked me to review some weeks back

It started when I noticed they ordered a pizza delivery one night. I was shocked.
I bet they ordered that one the old fashioned way by calling the restaurant.
But since then it has escalated to app use.

 >>/1010033/
> they make sure they get all their money,
I knew of someone who had a Menulog terminal for their business and it broke, Menulog wanted $700 to fix/replace it. He had been paying hundreds to thousands in fees. They relented and replaced it for free.

 >>/1010040/
The restaurants add fees on top of their items. Ring up a local establishment and order the feed, do the same feed on the app. There should be a difference.

As we get older we forget that our young crushes have gotten older too.
Even today you can still find ageing millenials talk about Pamela Anderson as a benchmark for attractiveness even though she must be close to 80 now and mostly plastic too.

I have it on dash cam. You can hear the noise before he overtakes on the rear camera as the tire flaps around. My dash cam also does my speed. So he was over the speed limit for a truck.

Might let the insurance company have fun or not. Not sure if I like the windshield scratch that goes from drivers side to the passenger side. Still pondering.

At chiggen burgahs. Getting zinger box and large chibs and go bugget. You neets want anything?

Server is almost all setup. Got portainer installed and connected my dockers into it. Navidrome loads on phone and jellyfin loads on tv.
Nextcloud is a buggy slow piece of shit.
Later i’ll put my journal app i made on it but also gotta work out how to update it. Might have to learn to use github or something.

I watched Citizen Vigilante (2026)
The concept was good. The low budget nature of it limited its execution.
It played it straight instead of using humour and/or horror. I am not sure that was the right choice for a low budget film.
There was a good scene with a tugger that Cruisey would have liked.

had another thought on my NEETwalk this morning, about how in the future their will be more women than men because currently it is much more likely that a woman will bear children than a man. this means that men whose sperm produces more daughters than sons will be genetically rewarded with more progeny and those daughter producing genes will proliferate. historically it has been the other way round with more men being born than women, possibly an adaptation to regular wars that benefits the tribe. i think the value of men will rebound in the coming decades because of this.

> wildest and most remote part
It sort of is but sort of isn't. There are protected wild areas sure, but Tasmania is quite small so you can never really get too far away from inhabited areas. It is really a very civilised place.
The real wild stuff happens in the interior of the main continent. That is where you go if you want to disappear. Go live in a dugout in Coober Pedy and dig for opals.

 >>/1010319/
i thought about that after i posted my comment actually. the truly wild parts of australia are probably the outback and north west coast. the most recent encounter with wild abbos being in the 1980s absolutely boggles the mind. maybe there are still wild ones out there, probably not but fun to imagine
