Israel, for jews, is 100% a correct country. They are doing their best to protect their own and to survive the future.
America "ideally" is the same for Americans, and it ideally does not want allies that are not themselves nationalists and who do the best for their people. 

It's not so much a question of if Israel is "good to americans" that is not what they are supposed to be, its a question of if America is good to americans.

You do not want allies that neglect their own people for yours.
