Lurker here. I've use mouth taping to great effect. Get a sort of papery tape and lay it horizontally across your lips. You don't need to press it too hard either, just get a seal without putting your lips in an unnatural pose.
I also used to wear a myobrace at night but it really did not work for me. I never managed to keep my jaw from receding at night so I was nearly yanking my teeth forward/backward to no benefit and probably quite some harm. Some of the worst sleep I've ever had and I didn't have any stressors in my life at the time.
