I was not allowed to meet or speak directly with the detainees, which continues to raise serious questions about the real conditions of the facility and the treatment of those held there. I will continue to push to speak with the detainees directly. They deserve to be heard and the public deserves answers.

Hans Mahncke @HansMahncke - The whole dust up between Judicial Watch and Kash Patel's FBI is actually a pretty good illustration of the health of the conservative movement. There is no universe in which James Comey’s FBI would publicly attack a left-wing organization, and even less of one in which that organization would have criticized Comey's FBI in the first place.
On the left, everyone falls into line and nobody ever breaks ranks. That's nice for them, but even if it can be frustrating at times, a movement where people on the same side can disagree openly is far healthier in principle.
