FischerKing @FischerKing64 - The left is circling the wagons around Graham Platner in Maine because this is what they do when they sense they need to shift to the center to regain power. The Nazi tattoos are not a problem if he votes the right way, does what he’s told. They did this back in 2006 too with candidates like Jim Webb - who had been a Republican.
But it’s a scam. Once they have majorities they immediately push left and sideline people they use - and the real aggressive agenda reemerges. Any ‘moderate’ - more frankly any white man - has no place in the democrat party unless he supports whatever the hard left agenda item of the day is. They just dumped Swalwell for things they’ve known for a long time because he was a bad boy and didn’t listen to the power structure. They used Biden to beat Trump, then dumped him when he wasn’t useful. Both Swalwell and Biden had been useful because they were willing to say things they didn’t believe and push policies they didn’t believe in. Neither guy is a true believer in trans stuff for instance.
So Platner can text whatever on some dating app - but if he toes the line, they will stand by him until the moment they think he can’t beat Susan Collins. If he becomes Senator he could be there a long time if he is a good boy - tame and docile.

Fox News @FoxNews - A sexually suggestive Kik profile linked to Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner is still active — despite his campaign saying he deleted the app long ago.
Kik has been labeled a "predator's paradise" by the National Center on Sexual Exploitation over concerns about child exploitation and predatory behavior on the platform. It is unclear who Platner messaged on the platform, but there is no evidence he communicated with minors.
The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Platner sent sexually explicit messages to multiple women while married to his wife, Amy Gertner. After the allegations surfaced, Gertner released a video defending her husband and blasting media coverage as "gossip."
Through it all, Platner remains a candidate for the U.S. Senate.
