NASA Team, I want to take a moment to congratulate and recognize Will Boyington’s accomplishments as he steps down from his role as Associate Administrator for NASA’s Office of Communications to take on a new position outside of the agency.
As Associate Administrator, Will oversaw the Communications organization through some of the largest public-facing moments in NASA’s recent history. I had the pleasure of watching Will and his team work and tell NASA’s story from the Crew 11 early-return to the highly successful and historic Artemis II lunar mission that captured the world's attention, to announcing the Moon Base.
During his tenure, the Communications team has shared the NASA story with hundreds of millions of people around the globe and helped inspire the next generation of scientists and explorers. Will’s guidance and focus on execution was instrumental in ensuring the work that you all do every day was seen, heard, and celebrated.
Please join me in thanking Will and wishing him well as he moves forward to the next exciting step in his career.
