Wolf of X @WolfofX - Peter Tabichi was a science teacher at a small secondary school in rural Kenya where classrooms were overcrowded, internet access was almost nonexistent, and many students came from families struggling with extreme poverty.
Instead of leaving for a better-paying job, he chose to stay and help.
He reportedly donated around 80% of his salary to support students with food, school supplies, uniforms, and basic needs so they could continue their education.
Many of his students walked long distances to school every day and studied in difficult conditions, yet under his guidance they began winning national and international science competitions.
In 2019, Peter Tabichi was awarded the prestigious Global Teacher Prize worth $1 million after being selected from more than 10,000 nominations across 179 countries.
During the ceremony, actor Hugh Jackman presented him the award as the world watched him become emotional on stage.

Wolf of X @WolfofX - In Los Angeles, libraries came up with an idea that changed thousands of young lives.
Instead of keeping children locked out over overdue book fines, they offered them a way back through reading itself.
The program, known as “The Great Read Away,” allowed kids and teens to erase $5 in library fees for every hour they spent reading inside the library.
What started as a simple experiment quickly became something much bigger.
Thousands of blocked accounts were restored, giving young readers access again to books, computers, homework resources, and safe learning spaces.
Library staff noticed that many children who had stopped visiting because of embarrassment or unpaid fines slowly began returning.
Some came just to clear their accounts, but stayed because they rediscovered a love for reading. Parents also supported the initiative because it encouraged learning instead of punishment.

Wolf of X @WolfofX - In 2015, an 8 year old golden retriever named Figo became known around the world after risking his own life to protect his blind owner, Audrey Stone, in Brewster, New York.
As they crossed a street together, witnesses said Figo threw himself toward an oncoming school bus in an attempt to shield her from the impact.
The collision left Audrey with multiple serious injuries, while Figo suffered a fractured leg, injuries to his joints and ribs, and a cut to the head.
But even while injured and in pain, he reportedly refused to leave her side as emergency crews arrived.
