U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - ICE’s first interaction with Alejandro Paulino-Espidio was in 2006, when he was found among 17 illegal aliens hiding in the back of a van. He was granted voluntary return to Mexico, but that wasn’t the last ICE would see of him.
He snuck back into the United States by climbing a border fence in 2018. When Border Patrol agents found him, he claimed he planned to live with some friends in Orange County, California. Federal officials deported him that time.
But he returned illegally — again.
Then, in 2022, a California judge in Fresno County convicted him of arson. A few years later, a California judge in Merced County convicted him of escaping from custody and vandalism.
ICE deported Paulino-Espidio May 16. His repeated disregard of Americans boundaries, laws and safety shows clearly why @DHSgov has prioritized immigration enforcement and removal AND border security.
