The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group conducted a bilateral maritime engagement with the Brazilian navy in the Atlantic Ocean, May 12-13.

The U.S. and Argentina are launching the Protecting Global Commons Program to boost maritime security in the South Atlantic.
The partnership begins with the delivery of a specialized camera aboard a special aircraft that patrols Argentina’s maritime zone. This program will expand over the next five years with advanced equipment, elite training, and support to intercept and neutralize maritime threats.
