U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service @USFWS - When a 7-year-old boy went missing while paddleboarding near Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, @USFWS Federal Wildlife Officer Tim Ryan didn’t hesitate.
He launched his boat, joined up with a @MyFWC Wildlife Officer, and pushed down the Rocky Creek River through fallen trees and tight passages, calling out into the silence.
About 50 yards from the riverbank, they heard a voice. They found the boy, gave medical aid, and got him safely back to EMS.
