This is a common thing. Always check your bill against the tip when it clears. We have good team members, so we don't run into this often, but in the past, I have caught a lot of servers adjusting the tip. I have heard horror stories about servers adding $5 on every bill, 100 checks in a week, and that's $500!! Sometimes, they do make genuine errors.
