The motorcade arrived at 4:21 p.m. CDT at Ex-Guard Industries, a steel manufacturing facility that makes guards that go on the front of trucks.
Agriculture Sec. Brooke Rollins was speaking to the crowd of several hundred people when pool arrived. There is a large American flag and two semi-tractors, two signs that say “Made in America” and a banner in front of the podium that says “American Jobs.”
The VP’s remarks will be carried live so I will send an update after we wrap up and head to airport.
And a note about the previous report that the Iowa Guard unit that Vance met is the unit in which Rep. Nunn is a colonel.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - This is the money for the secure bunker under the ballroom. The plan was always for Secret Service to foot the bill. In fact, they were planning much more costly renovations working around the existing Eastwing before Donald Trump became president.

The last bunker was heavily out of date and the Secret Service had been dying to replace it. It’s not news, it’s disinformation; that’s why it’s not being published.
