The suspect was observed by plain-clothes officers outside the White House complex. After noticing "a visual print of a firearm," they called uniformed officers
When approached by the uniformed agents, the man tried to run on foot, opening fire toward the officers. A juvenile bystander was also hit in the crossfire
Suspect's condition is not known, he is being treated at nearby hospital. Investigation is ongoing
