Acting Secretary Keith Sonderling @Sonderling47 - I’ve spoken with the @SpiritAirlines CEO, union leaders of flight attendants and pilots, and @USDOT to coordinate support for impacted workers.  
The Department of Labor is taking ACTION to support affected workers and help them get back to work quickly.  From immediate unemployment support to job placement and retraining, here’s what @USDOL is doing for displaced workers now:  
𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘
We’re working to ensure fast processing, so Americans aren’t left waiting. The Department of Labor is deploying Rapid Response teams to affected hubs to help workers:  
- File Unemployment Insurance claims  
- Get eligibility guidance  
- Access benefits as quickly as possible  

𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧  
Our goal is to get workers back into good-paying jobs fast! We’re connecting Spirit employees directly to new opportunities by:  
- Coordinating with major airlines and aviation employers  
- Hosting targeted job fairs and recruitment events  
- Prioritizing placement through American Job Centers  
𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚
Workers shouldn’t have to start over. We’re activating workforce funding to support:  
- Short-term certifications in aviation, logistics, and high-demand fields  
- On-the-job training programs with employers  
- Career pathways that build on existing skills

Today, at the EOD Memorial Wall at Eglin Air Force Base, we spoke every name.
We honor warriors who walked the long, lonely path toward danger so others could live. They didn’t do it for glory, fame, or medals. They did it because the mission demanded it—and because lives depended on it.
We remember how they lived. We carry them forward. They will never be forgotten.

After Lee Zeldin denies meeting with Bayer to discuss litigation the company was facing, AOC presents visitor logs and emails from Zeldin’s senior advisor stating that Zeldin would be meeting with the Bayer CEO to discuss “legal/judicial issues.”
“In this internal email, it says that Bayer was specifically seeking and discussing Supreme Court action, it would want an update on EPA’s regulatory review, and that, interestingly, Bayer will provide a small thanks for updating the glyphosate webpage from the EPA and work on MAHA.”
