UnitedHealthcare @UHC
Violence is never acceptable and any comments that suggest otherwise are in no way consistent with our mission and values. The person who made comments online about Saturday night's incident at a Washington event where President Trump and many other political leaders were gathered is no longer employed by the company.

Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - We’re about to be told that the sky will fall unless Congress passes a “clean” reauthorization of FISA 702—meaning a reauthorization without any conditions or modifications, including a warrant requirement to protect U.S. citizens.
Don’t fall for this scare tactic.
Although 702 is set to lapse at midnight Thursday, 702 collection can lawfully continue for nearly a year, based on a provision passed by Congress in 2018.
My bill with @SenatorDurbin (the SAFE Act) imposes reasonable restrictions on 702, including a warrant requirement to protect U.S. citizens, and has a much better chance of passing than a clean reauthorization.
Either way, don’t fall for the coming “the sky is falling” scare tactic.
Quote:
Senator Dick Durbin @SenatorDurbin - FISA Section 702 is a valuable tool, but it is also a legal backdoor to spy on Americans’ communications without a warrant. I am on the Senate floor to call for reforms to this law, so we can monitor potential threats while preserving Americans’ rights.

Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - Video: Who does *not* want to see @rosadelauro become the chair of the House Appropriations Committee?
That’s what’s coming if Democrats win in November.

Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - Even though it’ll lead to *less* revenue for California, the so-called “billionaire tax” will be defended by the far left on grounds of “fairness.”
Quote:
Joel Pollak @joelpollak
In short: California’s proposed “billionaire tax” could lead to less revenue, not more, over time, because of the lost additional income tax revenue as billionaires and other rich people leave the state. This would be one of the dumbest things passed in the history of democracy.

Arthur MacWaters @ArthurMacwaters - In 1913, only 1% of households filed income tax
Now, 100% do.
Every time a tax scheme is created, it starts with "just the rich" and quickly applies to everyone.
Every time.
California will seize assets of every citizen if this passes.
Not income, assets. Your house. Your furniture.
This would end the Golden State.
