A Grand Jury returned an indictment against Dr. David Morens, a former senior official at NIAID, for allegedly conspiring to conceal federal records, evade Freedom of Information Act requirements, and suppress dissenting scientific views regarding the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This can never happen again, and this prosecution sends a clear message: those who hold positions of public trust must uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
