Glenn Greenwald @ggreenwald - I wonder what issue is causing Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman and Palantir's Alex Karp to spend millions to defeat Graham Platner?
Might it be similar to why Miriam Adelson, Paul Singer and John Paulson are spending millions to remove Thomas Massie from Congress?

Glenn Greenwald @ggreenwald - Are you fucking kidding? Most of conservative media said that Bill Clinton was a drug trafficker based in airfields in Arkansas, and that Hillary murdered multiple people including Vince Foster.
Many prominent people on the Right claimed Obama was a secret operative for radical Islam (not that many years after 9/11) and hated Christians, and many (including Trump) claimed he wasn't even eligible for the presidency because he was born in Kenya and used fake documents.
The FBI disrupted several assassination plots against Obama. Timothy McVeigh bombed a Federal Courthouse in protest of Waco and Ruby Ridge. GOP senator Jesse Helms warned Bill Clinton not to go to any military bases, saying "Mr. Clinton better watch out if he comes down here. He'd better have a bodyguard."
And that's to say nothing of multiple recent massacres against Muslims, black people, Latinos in the US that were far more adjacent to right-wing political discourse than left-wing.
Yes, there's a lot of pro-violence sentiments on the left, but you people just repress the memories when it comes from your side, and thus don't believe or know that it happened.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer @GovWhitmer - I am relieved that everyone is safe following last night’s horrifying shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
The violence has to stop now. It is not who we are. I am grateful for the swift action of law enforcement.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer @GovWhitmer - Everything is too expensive. Tariffs have jacked up costs and left us with the bill. It is time for a federal trade policy that protects American jobs without sky-high prices.
