POTUS, sitting center stage between Nevada Lt Gov Stavros Anthony and Treasury Sec Scott Bessent, said this is the “birthplace” of no tax on tips, as he retold the story of the waitress he met who he says inspired the policy. Check any quotes against transcript.

POTUS talked about his DoorDash delivery to the Oval this week, using Sharon Simmons’ story to highlight no tax on tips. He also joked that it was a “little tacky,” which drew some laughs from the crowd.
“To be honest it was a little tacky,” he said. “They're a little bit tiny embarrassing but you do them and you win by landslides.”
On Iran: “I would say the war in Iran is going along swimmingly” and repeats that he expects it to be over soon.
“I didn’t want to do that but we had to because we can’t let them have a nuclear weapon”
