Hugo Gomez-Soto, 51, of Honduras, sold illicit fentanyl powder to a 29-year-old, resulting in a fatal overdose.
He faces life in prison after being found guilty of distribution of fentanyl resulting in death and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl — and will be sentenced on July 10.

Despite OpenAI’s own “mass casualty” flags on his chats, a human intervened, restoring his account then refused to hand over the logs that could reveal who else is at risk.
Today the court ruled: Chatlogs must be turned over and he stays banned from ChatGPT.
Incredible that even after Tumbler Ridge and FSU, OpenAI is still in Court fighting to keep criminals (he was previously arrested for assault with a deadly weapon) on their platform. 
No one should have to sue to make OpenAI take “mass casualty” threats seriously.
