She later came to America and enjoyed her American dream—gained a Ph.D from MIT and worked for the state of Massachusetts as an environmental engineer. She died peacefully a few years ago, while her victim never received justice.

Traded a challenge coin with one of the local deputies from the sheriff’s department. Really proud of the fact that my daughter then thanked him for his service. He commented “I think you’re succeeding…” while nodding at my shirt.
