White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - In-town pool report #8: POTUS remarks
Apologies to the WH wranglers who did call a 2 minute warning on the overhead that your pooler did not hear!
Also present in the briefing room Steve Witkoff, Eric Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Michael Boulos
POTUS spoke alongside Ratcliffe, Hegseth, and Caine.
He recounted efforts over the weekend to rescue the U.S. pilot in Iran: “So they had all these different sites where everybody thought he was located. We think we have them over there because they have nine planes circling a little area that's 25 miles down the coast.”
He also vowed to go after the “leaker” of info on the pilot: “We’re going to go to the media company that released it, and we're going to say national security. Give it up or go to jail.”
CIA Director John Ratcliffe then took to the podium, followed by Secretary Pete Hegseth, and S
Ratcliffe likened searching for the pilot to “hunting for a single grain of sand in the middle of a desert."
Hegseth: “Per the president’s direction, today will be the largest volume of strikes since day one of this operation tomorrow, even more than today.”
“Iran has a choice. Choose wisely because this president does not play around,” Hegseth said.
Gen. Caine said he and Hegseth would hold a more detailed briefing tomorrow.
POTUS is taking questions now. More to come.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - FLOTUS Pool Report #3 - Be Best Ring Toss
At the Be Best Ring Toss, FLOTUS was swarmed by children and parents who wanted photos. Rep. Mike Lawler took a selfie with FLOTUS and his daughters. He tells us his daughters love the First Lady, who in turn loved their matching dresses.
The First Lady showed the children how to do the ring toss and smiled and applauded with the Easter Bunny as the kids tossed the rings.
She’s now headed to the Reading Nook. Across the lawn POTUS is gaggling.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - FLOTUS Pool Report #4 - Reading Nook
At the Reading Nook, located on the new Rose Garden Patio, the First Lady read "The Runaway Bunny," by Margaret Wise Brown, illustrated by Clement Hurd.
The Rose Garden is full of young children and parents. Many babies as well.
“It’s a beautiful story,” FLOTUS says at the end, saying she’s sure all the mothers can relate to how much the mother bunny loved her baby bunny.
She then wished everyone a happy Easter Monday and departed the Rose Garden.
That’s all from me today! Happy Easter Monday!
