She was last seen walking to a stable where she kept her horse and vanished without a trace, police said 
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that Plante has been found alive but gave no details to respect her privacy 
At the time, her disappearance was considered suspicious, though investigators have not revealed the cause 
A 1994 flyer described her case as an abduction by a stranger. The case went cold but remained open, with periodic reviews by a cold case unit 
No arrests have been made
