White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - In-town pool report No. 5 - White House arrival
Droves of tourists are out giving the motorcade a variety of positive and negative gestures. Pool spotted some National Guard members in the crowds as well.
The ride was uneventful otherwise.
The motorcade arrived back at the WH at 11:30 a.m. We didn't have eyes on POTUS entering the building.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - In-town pool report No. 4 - rolling
While the pool was stationed out back of the Supreme Court, we briefly watched a protest walk down Constitution Avenue toward the front of the Court. Demonstrators were chanting "the people united will never be defeated."
Vans were loaded as Solicitor General John Sauer wrapped his oral arguments.
We’re rolling as of 11:23 a.m.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - VP Pool Report #2 — Quotes and ceremony
VPOTUS enters the room at 1047 . There are about three dozen guests including McDonald’s wife and children. In his brief remarks before the swearing in, Vance said the administration would aim to restore deterrence on fraud.
Vance: “One of the things Colin is going to do is make sure that no fraud, no matter how big or how small it is, no fraud is small enough or big enough to look away from. And I think that's going to reimpose deterrence. It's going to make fraudsters know that they're going to suffer some consequences, and it's going to make the American people know that these programs are being protected for the people who need them, because there are a lot of them out there. We want to help them, but we've got to get rid of the fraud in order to do it.”
He then asked McDonald to raise his right hands and repeat the oath. After McDonald’s brief comments, Vance invited his family for a group photo.
