MOMof DataRepublican @data_republican - So tonight our local GOP hosted a debate between the Republican candidates running for the House of Representatives in DC from FL district 19 to replace Rep. Byron Donalds who hopes to become the next governor of Florida. Only candidates who had raised at least $25K were allowed to participate. That still included 7 candidates.
When Rep Donalds won his first primary in 2020, he won by 744 votes. Primaries matter. Voting matters.
I learned tonight that we have some great and not-so-exciting candidates. I would have never known that if I did not participate in local politics.
