Settelmeyer should be ashamed to receive Amodei’s endorsement. Amodei has a strong anti-Trump record, including backing Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry into President Trump over the Ukraine Hoax.
A September 27th, 2019 press release from Amodei reads:
“Rep. Mark Amodei supports the House’s inquiry into whether President Donald Trump should be impeached.”
Amodei also blamed President Trump for January 6th:
He said,
“Yes, there is blame and responsibility for the President.”
As a RINO himself, Settelmeyer is probably pleased to receive Amodei’s endorsement. Amodei’s policy record includes supporting DEI and allowing men in women’s sports.
Trump-hating RINOs always stick together.
Totally disqualifying!

The state has long taken the position that failing to use a student’s preferred name and pronouns constitutes unlawful discrimination, and that a student’s asserted identity may be withheld from parents at the student’s request. But the operative court order—upheld by the Supreme Court—expressly prohibits school employees from adopting a different name or pronouns for a child over parental objection or from misleading parents about their child’s identity.
Despite SCOTUS’s clear affirmation of parents’ rights, there is little indication that school districts in California are changing course, instead relying on faulty legal guidance. Taxpayers are the ones paying the legal fees, so officials have little incentive to comply.

Leader John Thune @LeaderJohnThune - Let’s summarize where we are after a 40+ day Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security.
1) ICE and CBP are funded, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and the foresight of President Trump and Republicans in Congress.
2) After holding DHS and the American people hostage for over 40 days, Dems got ZERO restrictions that would prevent ICE and CBP agents from doing their jobs safely.
3) Due to Dem obstruction of the appropriations process, ICE and CBP will get even more funding through budget reconciliation.
4) Dems have once again established themselves as the “Open Borders, Defund the Police” party heading into an election.
5) Dem leadership has proven once again they can’t be trusted to make a deal.
Which begs the question if you’re a Dem senator or one of their left-wing supporters: What was this really all about?
