Pilot eventually got in contact with the tower and immediately exited the zone
“[Secret Service] was tracking the whole time,” the source told me.
At least one pilot announced to their passengers that there was a drone incursion, and a ground stop was issued.
I have not yet confirmed why choppers were scrambled.
