Some more tidbits from the event:
The president joked that Iranians “have to open up the Strait of Trump” in reference to the Strait of Hormuz. “Excuse me, I’m so sorry. Such a terrible mistake,” he said. “The fake news will say he accidentally said […] there’s no accidents with me.”
POTUS repeated that he is “very disappointed in NATO” and mocked a few European leaders for declining to help in the Middle East. He added: “If the big one ever happened, I guarantee you NATO wouldn’t be there.”
The president said he is grateful to “the entire kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” They have “been very helpful — unlike NATO,” he said.
POTUS said Indonesia, Turkey have also been helpful in his war efforts in the Middle East, saying “you learn who your friends are” in conflict.
The president then compared Democrats to Iranian leaders, saying they are both “deranged.” He made the comparison as he criticized the DHS funding impasse.
He talked about how he does not think he is loosing a grip on his MAGA base.
In passing he twice said: “Cuba is next.”
Trump introduced FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who was in the crowd, and immediately lamented how he was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Infantino notably presented Trump last year with the newly created FIFA Peace Prize.

The president repeated his disappointment with NATO and said that “based on their actions” he doesn’t see why the U.S. should continue to protect them. He said that is “breaking news.”
“Why would we be there for them if they are not there for us?” he said.
The press pool exited the room at 6:49pm while POTUS left the stage.
Pool began rolling back to MIA at 6:55 p.m.

Motorcade began rolling at 7:59 p.m. en route to Mar-a-Lago.
