Here in the USA, courts very strongly favor the employer’s freedom of association aka they will almost always side with someone doing the firing. Unless it’s based on a protected demographic—race, sex, age. Politics are not a protected demographic.
If you were “dismissed” there’s a very good chance they genuinely didn’t think you’d win.
I encourage you to shop around for free consults again. I’m trying to protect you here. Yes, you can raise money and hire a lawyer. And he will run up more fees than the money is worth and bankrupt you.

You need to bring those documents and hear from multiple lawyers as to your odds of success. That’s how it works in the USA. If you have a strong enough case, they may even take it on for free.
Taking money and giving to a lawyer may result you in simply being ripped off by dishonest lawyers.
