Takaichi began speaking at 11:49am in English thanking the welcome.
Her interpreter took over, speaking on the severe security environment.
She said that only you Donald can achieve peace throughout the world. She said she was ready to reach out to her intl community to achieve the objective together.
She mentioned that FM Motegi had spoken with Iran’s Araghchi. She said nuclear weapons in Iran must never be allowed.
She condemned Irans actions Of attacking neighboring Regions and the de facto closure of the Hormuz Sttait. She said she had specific proposals to calm the global energy market.
She said Donald you have shown deep trust in Japan and unwavering commitment to the Japan US alliance.
She said she looked forward to discussing how we can make our two economies stronger together.
President Trump said Japan was stepping up to the plate.
On China, Takaichi said that Japan has been consistently open to dialogue with China and that they have been speaking in a calm manner.

On if he’s satisfied with the level of support he’s getting from Japan on Iran: “They are really stepping up to plate… unlike NATO”
On allies: “We don't need much. We don't need anything honestly from Japan or anyone else. But I think it's appropriate that people step up."
On timing of Iran war: “It's going to be over with pretty soon. We've obliterated. We've obliterated their just about everything obliterated, including leadership.”
