I had some inquiries asking if it was legal for illegal aliens to own businesses in the US.
So I did some research — the answer is apparently, yes.
There’s no US law currently in place that prohibits illegal aliens from starting their own businesses. All they really need to obtain are ITIN and EIN numbers, which are tax and employee identifications.
The only caveat is that federal law prohibits them from hiring illegal aliens.
Sanctuary jurisdictions, where officials do not check an individual’s immigration status, are suspected of having a high number of illegal alien business owners.
Data projects that there are roughly 1 MILLION illegal alien-owned businesses in the US.

A federal judge denied him bail during his arraignment on Wednesday.
