Brian Allen @allenanalysis - Ted Cruz was booed off stage by Christians today.
His response:
“If you will not stand with Israel, then I will not stand with you.”
A sitting US Senator just told American citizens — at a Christian event — that their value to him is conditional on their position toward a foreign government.
Not the Constitution. Not Texas. Not the American people.
Israel.
Lindsey Graham: “I’m not with you, I’m with Israel, until my dying day.”
Chris Murphy: “Israel forced our hand.”
Netanyahu: This war is turning Israel into a global superpower.
Seven Americans dead. American tax dollars. American tankers are burning.
American soldiers hidden from their families.
And Ted Cruz just told a room full of Americans he won’t stand with them.
They booed him.
Good.

Burgess Everett @burgessev - Thune is likely to bring up the SAVE Act as a message from the House -- that needs only 50 votes to get on the floor because there's no initial cloture vote.
Why? Because senators who oppose the talking filibuster support this method, like Sen. John Curtis of Utah, and Thune can probably get the 50 votes he needs to get it on the floor. Will still need 60 votes on the back end
“My preference is to bring up the House version and then let us offer amendments to that,” Curtis told Semafor.
